    Barbells or Dumbells

    I do chest twice a week (Monday + Thursday)
    I was wondering if i should incorperate dumbell and barbell movements on both days or have a day for each.

    Example: Monday = BB / Thursday = DB
    Monday
    Flat BB
    Incline BB
    Decline BB
    Flies

    Thursday
    Incline DB
    Flat DB
    Decline DB
    Flies

    OR

    Monday = both / Thursday = both
    Monday
    Incline BB
    Flat DB
    Decline BB
    Flies

    Thursday
    Flat BB
    Incline DB
    Decline DB
    Flies
    Age- 18 as of 8/20
    Bench 295x1, 255x5, 225x11
    Deadlifts- 355 x 4, 315x10, 275x15
    DB military- 85sx10
    squat- 245x20
    Dips- bw+135x3 (three plates)
    Rows- 205x10

    yeah man. that sounds good to me. I try to do the same thing. i find that i've been getting faster gains in exercises where i use both BB and DB.

    I like to mix it up. but i also like to get at least db and bb on each exercise each week.

    i was leaning towards that too

    I like to alternate.

    One week ill do the BB types of exercises.. then next week ill try the DB variation.

    same here thats why ive got BB and DB for incline flat and decline

    half and half..like db and bb on the same day, then switch them the next time you train.
