Wall sits?
I haven't seen these mentioned here yet, so I guess I'll ask about them. I like to finish off my quads by hugging a couple plates, propping myself against a wall, and sliding down until my thighs are parallel to the ground. I sit there for a minute. Then I drop the weight and hold in place for another minute. It feels absolutely amazing, but since I'm not doing any real work am I just wasting my time?

no, wall sits are great for isotension which will give you a lot of blood rush to the muscle, resulting in a good pump, as well as a good core strengthening exercise.

they definitely can have their place. To burn out your legs at the end of a workout, sounds good to me.

i saw some kid at my school he was "punished" and they took his seat away and told him to wall-sit instead, i was surprised he sat for like 4 minutes he doesnt even workout.

I saw someone at my gym doing those while doing db curls. Seems like a reasonable exercise.

I used to do them one-legged because it's awkward holding much weight when doing them on both feet.
