Bull.dogz REDuction for a Red Hot Summer Log
First things first. Thanks CL for giving me this great opportunity to try out the REDuction! I am really excited and can't wait to see the results.
So a little about me. My body type is mesomorph. I'm 36 years old, 5'3" (almost 5'4"!!) very small boned (petite frame), and here's the ugly part. I weigh 136lbs. Last year, if you remember the infamous Green Magnitude contest shorts I was about 120lbs than. Over the holidays I gave up on my diet and cardio while still weight training. I like having curves but right now it's too much of the wrong curves. I started up my cardio back up 2 months ago and cleaned up my diet some but haven't lost one single pound so I'm hoping the REDuction will do the trick! I would like to lose at least 10lbs but my ultimate goal is to get back to 120lbs.
So here are the measurements:
Biceps: Lft 11" Rt 11 1/2" Flexed Lft 12 1/4" Rt 12"
Waist 29"
Butt 39"
Hip 36 3/4"
Thighs Lft 23 3/4: Rt 24"
Calfs Lft 12 1/4: Rt 12 3/4"
Chest 36"
Now the horrifying part....the pictures.
Tomorrow morning will be the start of my REDuction!
See you guys at the finish line!!:heavy lifting:

Monday - Chest and Triceps
Today was the first day of REDuction. I only took one pill to see how I would feel. I felt pretty good. Not amped up but awake and alert. I'm not a morning person and usually don't start talking to anyone til about 10am but I felt more perky than usual. My allergies were murder today so I had to take an allergy pill, which usually makes me drowsy but I didn't feel drowsy at all. I yawned a few times but not the "I have to have a nap" feeling I usually get in the afternoons. I can't wait to double my dosage tomorrow.
So here's how my meals went today, diet was perfect:dinner: :
7am - 1 RED
7:30: - 1/2 scp soy; 1/2 scp whey shake; multi-vitamin; glucosamine chondriotin; calcium
10 - 3 egg whites/1 whole w/2 tbsp monterey jack cheese; 1/2 cup yams
1 - 1/2 cup grnd turkey; 1/2 cup brown rice; 1/2 cup lettuce; 1/4 cup tomatoes; 2 tbsp cheddar cheese
4 - Medium fuji apple; 1 scp whey
4:30 - 5g GM
Gym - 1 scp PW
7:30 - 1/2 scp soy; 1/2 scp whey shake
8 - 1 cup cottage cheese; 5 small strawberries
9 - 1 Black
Cals: 1385 /Fat: 44/Carbs 105/Prot 143
Workout:
Treadmill - Warm up - 5 min - 3.5 @ 3.0 incline
DB Incline
Warm up:15lbsx20; 30x10; 25x14; 20x15; 15x20
DB Flat
30x6; 25x12; 15x12; 15x15
Flyes
15x10; 10x12; 15x12; 15x15 (10's felt too light)
Push ups - Decline (these were really tough)
10; 10; 10
Bench Dips
Warm up 13; 13; 15; 8
Seated Overhead Press
20x9; 15x11; 15x10; 15x10
Rope Pressdown
35x12; 30x15; 25x15; 20x20
Reverse Grip Pressdown
60x15; 60x15; 55x20; 50x20
Cardio
Eliptical - 20 min - various speeds and resistance
It was a great workout; my back is tired from physical therapy today. I forgot to mention in my intro that I had pulled my low back in March and I've been going to pt twice a week for the last 2 weeks. Next week will be my last pt, my back is feeling pretty much 90% now but I still can't do heavy squats. He says lunges are ok. Basically anything that I can keep my back in a neutral position is ok. I probably won't be able to do leg presses for a while but everything else is ok. Abs are still tough, I can do planks and crunches on the ball but lower abs will be a challenge. I report on the Black's effect tomorrow.

Took 1 Black (pm pill) last night around 9. I was beat from my workout so I was pretty tired anyways. Woke up about 10:30 when my cell phone rang. Turned it off and went right back to sleep. Woke up a couple of times (really, really had to pee). Normally, I'll wake up about 5 times during the night. When I woke up this morning I didn't feel groggy. It was just the usual, I don't want to get out of bed thing.
I took the normal dosage this morning of the RED. Have to say I'm feeling pretty good. It probably took about half an hour for me to start feeling it. Maybe a little sooner. I was already on the phone 15 minutes after taking them and feeling a like Chatty Kathy. I'm feeling like I would after a good carmel mocha but not amped up. Too much caffeine gives me a headache and my heart races. I don't get that feeling at all. I'm switching when I take my vitamins though. I noticed yesterday my stomache got a little upset when I took it right after the RED. So far I'm loving the gradual energy I feel. Not that jacked up feeling you get when you take some fat burners.

Legs
Today was a good day. Started my morning off with 2 Reds. No jitters, racing heart or any other kind of side effects that I normally get with other fat burners. Loving this stuff! My energy level was the same all day. No ups or downs. The feeling is like after a really good nights sleep. You feel energetic and alert, ready to take on the world. I noticed was wasn't as hungry as I usually am either.
So here's todays meal, right on track again:
7am - 2 Reds
7:30 - 1/2 scoop Soy; 1 scoop Whey; Glucosamine chondroitin & Calcium
10 - 3 Egg whites/1 whole; 1/2 cup yams; 1 oz Monterey Jack Cheese
1 - 1/2 cup Ground Turkey; 1/4 cup Red Beans; 1 cup lettuce; 1/4 cup tomatoes; 1 oz Cheddar Cheese
4 - Medium Fuji Apple; 1 scoop Whey
4:30 - 5g Green Magnitude
5:30 - 1 scoop Purple Wraath (during workout)
7 - 1 scoop Whey; 1/2 scoop Soy
8 - 1 cup Fat Free Cottage Cheese; 5 small Strawberries
9 - 2 Blacks
Calories 1648/ Fat 52/ Carbs 122/ Protein 174
Workout:
Warmup - 5 min treadmill 3.0 incline @ 3.2
Squats with Barbell
Warmup 10xbar; 65x12; 65x12; 65x15
Walking Lunges (24 steps)
30lb Barbell x 3 sets
Leg Press (foot position high)
Sledx10; 50x10; 50x10
Standing Hamstring Curls
10x10; 10x12; 10x12; 10x10
Angled Seated Calf Press
40x10; 12; 12; 15
Cardio
Treadmill
13 minutes @ 3.0 incline and 3.2
My back was sore today from physical therapy yesterday so I tried to go easy on this workout. This was the first time I was able to do the leg press machine in 2 months. Kinda depressing going from doing 405lbs to 50. I could feel it in my low back so we'll have to see how my back feels tomorrow. I was starting to really feel it in my back during cardio so I cut it short. My goal was at least 20 minutes. Time to go eat and get ready for tomorrows day.

Took me about an hour to fall asleep last night. The brain was going full motion but I did notice that my body felt really relaxed. Usually, if my brains going my body will be tossing and turning. So I had to do the "blank out the brain" and I was out.
Woke up this morning ready to go. Normally I hit snooze twice before I Have to get up but this morning I was wide awake.
Got on the scale this morning.... , I'm not going to put down how much weight I've lost til the end of this run but let's just say the scale has moved!!
I had a passing of a very good friend last night. My ipod died in the beginning of my workout. It was "pop, lock n' drop it, pop, lock n' silence". Darn thing was only a year old.

I always wake up super quick while dieting because I'm starving. How does an ipod die? Mine's crashed a few times, but there's a fix for that.
