I left home at 19, its hard for the first few weeks, don't turn down any help you're offered initially like parents buying stuff for your place or you'll regret it. But after that you'll think wtf did I not move out earlier.

No REAL, mature, women will see a future with a man who still lives with his parents.
Let alone, if a single one of my friends still lived at home I would think less of him as a human being.

i plan to live at home for a while after school so i can save up all of my income rather than spending it all on housing and food then i can move out into a house rather than an apartment

I moved out to go to college at 18, but i did have some friends who didnt move out and spent the time at home until mid- late twenties.
Money comes and goes but you cant ever get your life / youth back. When you finally get around to moving out at mid to late twenties and the rest of your friends are getting married, starting families, cant go out anymore like they used to, you will then regrett living at home just because it was 'cheaper' .
Have fun being the 'old buy at the bar' when you finally decide to grow up and look back realizing that you spent the best years of your life SLEEPING ACROSS THE HALL FROM YOUR PARENTS when other people your age are hooking up, starting long term relationships, going out with friends, having people over, making their own rules, and experincing the free-est time of their entire life.
Let me know how that works out for you.

At least pay your parents rent at 18 so they aren't carrying you anymore.
Till then go to school, work, save up money and sleep with as many "girls" as you can before you move onto "women" who look for men who have more to offer.
After 18 a person needs to grow up and at least try to make a life for themselves in one way or another.

Yeah I know its good to be a child for as long as you like, but soon enough your gonna have to grow up and stand on your own 2 feet. Life ain't cheap, once you start paying real bills and so on you'll see what I mean.
