NY Pro 2008 Results

Under 202 lb:

I stand corrected. Ben White did NOT make the top 5. It'll be interesting to see what he says after he said he'd quit bodybuilding if he didn't make the top 5.

Flexonline has pics. Ben White did look good.. really good actually. IMO, he needs more thickness like front to back (anterior-posterior).
I hadn't ever seen English before either, but he's huuuge especially for being under 202 lbs.

Ben White had the best back double biceps in the show.
Surprised he didn't make the top 5. But Kai outclassed him.

Ben White said in MD that he'll retire if he doesn't place in the top 5. Now the results are out and he's out of the top 5, does that mean it's Ben's first and last pro competition? 0_0
I really hope he continues to compete.
Can't wait till Lee Priest returns and competes in the 202 class and see how he hangs with English.

Holy **** at him being under 202. I didn't think at first but a bit yeah. Kai is very Coleman esque in some ways too.

Yea, he HAD it, but that's not what I was noticing at this show. The pic that was just posted of him perfectly illustrates it. Looking at him I was thinking there's something off about his pecs but I couldn't put my finger on it. After J_Bo mentioned them having an imbalance, I can see it.

Yea you're probably right. I just looked at his MM shots and his pecs seem fine. They just look a little flat in the side poses.. and a little off in the front lat spread (but it's probably like you said - flexing them differently).

Damn straight hommie, i knew he wouldn't make top 5 ...i had him 8th place.
But he has a future in the sport, i think he has a pleasing physique with more smoothly flowing lines than a kai greene
He is like Craig Richardson good lines, good frame , needs a little more mass but the potential is there.
Hope that loudmouth does better in his next outing.

Kevin English is the first guy in the replay of the 2006 NY Pro prejudging.
Then he didnt get called out until like the 4th callout and he was standing between Federov and MArtin Kjellstrom and he looked like a pee wee league football player, lol
he finished 17th which was the last placing before "np"
btw Kai finished "NP" lol
