Physics and Geometry 101
I notice alot of people on this forum are having trouble understanding "lb to lb" lifts and bw multiples and such topics regarding strength and size. This link might help clear up some of the confusion.

I think this thread is a useful reference point for a lot of people on this forum, before they start throwing around relative strength jargon. Good job.

It doesn't really mention where the cube was born, or where his ancestors lived, either...

im pretty sure the cube is a lifetime natty though, if you look at his progress he started out as a 1 x 1 and made his way up to 10 x 10 through years of hard cube training. if he was on gear there would be no way for him to stay so proportionate.

That's true. But I was just sayin', because if he was from West Africa or somewhere like that, his genetics would make it easier for him to progress in his training, than say, a cube from elsewhere.

Geometry for Powerlifters 101:
"I love when someone tells me they squat to "parallel" and then I get to go to the gym and watch. I think, "My God, who taught your geometry class?" Parallel to what? I start to ask myself if there's a line on the wall going downhill at a 45 degree angle. Are they parallel to that?" - Mike Boyle
