You're right on the money with the pizza. Weight gainers are just crap; they're full of sugar and barely, if any, protein.
Eat a meaty, cheesy pizza. Eat some ice cream. Eat something besides those damn ridiculous waste-of-f*cking money weight gainers.

Weight gainers shouldn't contain alot of protein, it should be more carbs' then protein.
And most of the weight gainers arn't bullcrap, most them are quite effective.
Even some having minimal amounts of sugars and/or fats.

Cytogainer works well. Vanilla Shake tastes amazing to me.

Of course it should be more carbohydrates than protein, as they should be around 40-50% of your daily caloric intake. My claims aren't that they need to have more protein than carbohydrates, but more protein in general.
No, most are not quite effective. Link me to a reputable article and/or site with some research on any leading weight gainer.
Finally, there aren't any (or VERY few) that have "minimal sugars and/or fats." Where, then if there is little protein, would you get your calories from? Sugar is carbs....and without any fat or carbs you've got...protein....which we both know is quite scarce in weight gainers. Thus you have been proven wrong my friend.

Oh my god. I'm tired of this "a calorie is a calorie" freaking bullsh*t. I won't waste my time with anyone of the importance of eating your macros and different times of day for different specific reasons. Such as protein for muscle gain/recovery or carbs for energy.
Are you talking about frozen pizza? If you get yourself a boboli pizza crust and put some sauce, cheese, and meat on it you're good to go. It should have around 8-12g of fat and 20g of protein for about 1/6 of the pizza (no clue on carbs).

food is the most anabolic thing you can get, just dont eat loads of junk food because that is full of empty calories that are just fat builders and do nothing for your muscles, eat steak, chicken breast, rice (white or brown), oats, eggs, sweet potato etc, and drink plenty of water. having a weight gainer on top of this will produce some pretty good lean mass gains.

Once again another person has jumped the gun, not once, did I state a companys weight gainer. For all you know, I was talking about a homemade weight gainer, which in fact, has little fat/sugars.
And whats not there to be effective, Im pretty sure protein and carbs are effective in producing energy and building muscle last time I checked.

Not only do you contradict yourself but you fail to specify what the hell you're talking about so you can get in the last word.
