I made 2 pounds of those meatballs.... great snack... great with mustard.... pretty dang good.
I calculated the nutrients as follows for 1/4lb balls. (Made with 96% lean ground beef)
Carbs: 7
Protein: 27
Fat: 6
Calories: 194

DB press tonight, goal accomplished. I wanted a single using the 150lb Dbs for the flat press and got 5! 4 real clean and 1 all me but dont think I got the full range. If I can do this again I will need to try to record it but this much weight I wanted my spotter near by!

This thought came to my mind today as I was pushing for heavier weights on a particular exercise & struggling with keeping my form & using the heavy weights:
"One of the biggest tragedies in bodybuilding comes when you're winning the game but you feel like you are losing".
That statement is from chapter 17, Working Your Way Through Down Times, but also is applicable in the gym. Have you ever pushed that heavy weight & you were doing just fine w/ it but in the back of your mind were fighting with thoughts of "you should lighten up". Don't let that voice get in - keep using the heavier weight - you are winning! don't be that tragedy!

I get a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store...they usually have them for about 5$ for the entire chicken and it's AWESOME. Very moist and flavorful.... comes in lemon pepper, regular, BBQ or Cajun flavors.
I'm with you...I haven't eaten a regular chicken breast in weeks because of the same reason.
Another thing I started doing is baking the chicken breasts or doing them in the George Foreman grill...then chopping them up and mixing them with 2 cups of brown rice and a can of fat free cream of chicken soup. It makes a casserole like thing and much easier and less dry to eat.

If your chicken is dry it is due to over cooking not the recipe. One mistake people make is they mistake cooking the pink color out of the flesh as having to cook the chicken until there in no longer a clear juice running. I suggest you try backing off on your cooking time. If your not sure if the chicken is done, cut it at the thickest part. If it is white all through then it's done. As you do this a few times you'll get to where your chicken will last in the fridge for a couple of days in tupperware and still be juicy when reheated. Just like anything it takes a bit of practice. I'll shoot a video when I cook chicken this weekend if that'll help...

Hey mass machines, if you don't have skip's packing on muscle dvd's yet, its a must buy. If your serious about working out and training buy the DVDs now. I'm not just saying that to kiss skip's ass, I'm being totally honest! I have the DVDs and watch them all the time. Every time I watch the DVDs I feel I learn something new. Its without a doubt the best training video out there. You will not only learn so much information about training, cardio and nutrition it will help motivate you to get to the next level!
