I agree with some of the points you make, especially when it comes to using AAS or anything similar, if you're going to juice, use real AAS that has years of research behind it rather than an OTC DS/PH that has been around for five minutes.
However, I do believe that some of the non-hormonal supplements available ARE worth a damn and have decent research to back up their claims e.g. creatine, fish oil, protein supplements (including BCAAs/EAAs) and would happily recommend anyone looking to supplement their training to give those a try first.
So lumping all OTC supplements into one broad area is not only unfair but simply not true according to the research available.
