Craping everyday. Not enough water?
I've been cramping everytime i do cardio. No matter what form I choose, I cramp up, ususally in the abdomen. I drink about 40 oz of water per day, maybe 50. I eat the recomended amount of potassium for a 2000 Calorie per day diet. Am I cramping because I need more water?
The reason I ask is because my urine is clear, meaning I'm not dehydrated right? I'll gladly drink more water if it means I can make it thorugh more than 20 mins of cardio without doubling over.
thanks
EDIT: really sorry about misspelling cramping in the thread name.

Could be a pottasium deficiency or some other nutrient. Try throwing in some bannanas into your diet.

40oz of water/day? I have that much before 10am. 1 gallon is 128oz. That is where i would start. 1 gallon/day. I usually get in about 1.5 gallons per day.

Sorry, I had to.
It could be an imbalance in the levels of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium and phosphate) which would lead to muscle cramps. Dehydration can also cause muscle cramps. Try to drink a gallon of water a day. Or maybe substitute some of the water with gatorade or poweraid. If it persists go and see a doctor because it could be a circulation problem.

I used to in the past. It stopped 100% when I added a multi vitamin daily.
