SUSHI, a good post workout meal?

Been using it post work out because of the benefits it has. Fills you back up with protein and carbs and it tastes great.

Just wondering would the white rice in it stunt my cut?

I usually have 2 rolls, 12 pieces total.

    6 are salmon/rice/seaweed
    6 are tuna/rice/avacado/seaweed

Is the white rice a killer factor or is it still pretty clean to eat on a cut post workout.

post workout, nothing wrong with white rice imo.

Sushi rolls are a little high in fat. particularly the ones youre eating. That is not the best thing, but it wont kill you.

Sould be ok but liquid protein is better after a work out b/c your muscles take it in faster then they do whole foods. Also salmon and avacado have a fair amount of fat in them which you don't want post workout.

ahh okay thanks for that info.

It was sort of my lunch too, but it just happened to be time to eat after my workout.

Want to suggest a better roll to get, less in fat.

    *i dont eat crab though*

    tuna roll

    or tuna sushi

probably the best you'll get as far as PW. No sauces (soy sauce is fine), no avocado, no salmon, no eel, etc. Shrimp is probably fine as well, but no tempura!

I love sushi, nigiri to be exact, but as a post workout meal how is it good. I understand the white rice for post sprout but I though you weren't supposed to consume fats after a workout for atleast an hour and a half?

Honestly, I think he has cut a bit too far. He definitely was overweight before and his transformation was amazing. But he seems to have neglected his workouts. Way underweight with no muscle definition.

If I were to jump to conclusions, I'd suggest a ED. But I don't like to use the term so loosely.

Post workout, the white rice is actually helpful. Your bodies glycogen stores are very low postworkout, so having a high glycemic index food like white rice will quickly replenish those stores (granted you are eating immediately post workout as digestive enzymes are 300x higher at this point).
