After getting blood drawn for physical -- how long till I can workout again?

How long is fine after getting blood drawn can I workout? My gym is next to the doctor's office, so I was wondering if I can workout say 30 min after my appointment, or should I wait for a day or a few days?

Doctors always tell you not to workout after ANY appointment.
The thing is they kind of have extreme liability issues. Legally they HAVE to be able to say "I told my client to rest" if you try to sue.

Drink plenty of fluids and get a good meal in before you work out, throw in a multivitamin to be safe.

Some people will say stop being a pussy and workout right after. I usually take a day off when I get any amount of blood taken...that's just me.

I've given blood to the red cross before then gone and done 45 minutes of cardio. As much as it killed me I had the 2 cups full of sugary lemondae and two sugar cookies and I felt fine. If you're only having a little drawn by a doctor just have a meal before you workout and I;m sure you'll be fine.
