BLAP vs 98 DAYS
WHY?
These are supplements I have accumulated over a long period of time. Most of them will never be used without putting together a structured stack like this. Some are half empty already. I've used most of these products before (some in their original incarnations). Only the Intrabolic, P-Slin and Napalm are completely new products to me.
Although I'm looking to 'use up' many of these products I'm not looking to waste them. So this log will also be a medium to keep myself accountable over the 14 week/ 98 day period.
Whilst I have no real timeframe, I?ve set it at 14 weeks/ 98 days because I feel this is long enough to affect some real body comp changes. I also have a couple of events event (a friend's wedding and a couple of exams) to deal with mid-late August, which are as good a focus as any to get this done by.
GOALS
1) Get even sexier (improve overall body recomposition)
2) Use up significant amount of my stash in a considered way

DIET
This is my current/ starting diet. Not much will change for the first 7 weeks or so, except for the addition of IntraBolic and WMS during workouts. Weeks 8-11 I'll start cutting the carbs- replacing the higher carb meals like the homemade bread and MRP with boiled eggs and whey + flaxeed shakes- but keeping a high carb pre-workout meal (since I?ll be on the P-Slin at that point). Weeks 12+ I?ll be looking to cut those down too, particularly on off days.
WORKOUT
My workouts will be based on P/RR/S. I utilised it for several months earlier in the year and have enjoyed it. There are a couple of other programmes I would like to jump back on but they can get pretty time consuming at certain points in their cycle which make them difficult to incorporate into my current schedule.
I like the fact that P/RR/S is an effective, cyclical, routine without getting into 2h workouts.
Initially, workouts will be structured along the lines of:
Monday: OFF
Tuesday: BICEPS, TRICEPS, FOREARMS
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: UPPER BACK, TRAPS
Friday: OFF
Saturday: CHEST, SHOULDERS, CARDIO
Sunday: LEGS, LOWER BACK, CARDIO
With additional cardio added later.
DAILY SCHEDULE
TYPICAL WEEKDAY
0600 GET UP
0715 COMMUTE IN
0845 START WORK
1700 FINISH WORK/ COMMUTE BACK
1830 HOME/ STUDY
2000 GYM
2245 STUDY/ READ
2330 SLEEP
WEEKEND
0000- 2400 WHATEVER THE F*CK I WANT BYATCHES!!!!
(typically incorporating studying/reading, social life, xbox, training, family and girlfriend)
I should note that there should be a significant change to my routine at the end of June. A new 24hr gym will be opening up right by my work, so I'll be looking to go to the gym BEFORE work (i.e. between 0700-0830) instead of in the evening. This should help a lot with getting some quality, uninterrupted, studying in the evening. It should also coincide nicely with when my stim use will begin to kick in.

The chart below should speak for itself in terms of how I'm going to use the various products, but if you have any questions, shoot.

Blergh, I hate to do it but here are a couple of before pics. Looking at the first, I seriously want to lean out over the next few months.
Day 1 is Monday BTW.

___________
DAY 1 WEEK 1
OFF DAY
12 MAY 2008
◦ SUPPLEMENTS ◦- X-Factor
- Green MAGnitude
- Electrolyte Powder
- Beta Alanine
- Psyllium Husk
- Vitamin C
- Multivitamin
◦ APPEARANCE ◦
Slight but noticeable increase in vascularity in arms, likely due to the current heatwave we're experiencing. I think they call it Summer in more civilized places. Taken a few days off from work and training prior to starting this log, but haven't really noticed much other change for better or worse.
◦ OTHER/ THOUGHTS ◦
Had an awful night's sleep last night due to the heat. Very tired all day today- so I'm hoping I'll get a much better night's sleep tonight.
Also trying to figure out to do with my scheduled Thursday workout as I realised I have an appointment to donate blood in the afternoon. Reshuffling would really mess up my plans so I'm planning going for an abbreviated workout in the evening. However, I've done this before and just ended up doing a full workout anyway, so we'll see.
Really looking forward to finally trying IntraBolic tomorrow.
Day 1 + no workout = nothing much else to report.

___________
DAY 2 WEEK 1
13 MAY 2008

◦ SUPPLEMENTS ◦- X-Factor
- Green MAGnitude
- IntrAbolic
- Electrolyte Powder
- Beta Alanine
- Psyllium Husk
- Vitamin C
- Multivitamin
◦ APPEARANCE ◦
Similar increased vascularity as noted yesterday (induced by the warm weather). Nice pump during my workout by no discernable change from any other workout.
◦ STRENGTH ◦
Good, given I've taken a week or so off prior to today's workout. But very average compared to other recent sessions.
◦ RECOVERY (INTRAWORKOUT) ◦
Good- but not more so than usual.
◦ OTHER/ THOUGHTS ◦
I would say that this was a very solid but otherwise standard workout for me. Very comparable to other recent workouts with pretty much nothing noteworthy regarding the workout itself. I am suffering at the moment with a tweaked (suspected mild strain) to my wrist which made really putting in max effort difficult on occassion.
With that in mind I may as well post a:
QUICK'N'DIRTY INTRABOLIC REVIEW (INITIAL IMPRESSIONS)
TASTE 7/10
Tasted reasonably good, but not what I was expecting. Not having tried WPH before I was unsure what the 'bitterness' would be like. IntrAbolic masked the ingredients very well to a point, and it smells fantastic, but there is a definite aftertaste to this product.
Won't say much more as the flavour has now been tweaked anyway.
MIXIBILITY 10/10
Used a BlenderBottle, and it mixed without any issues whatsoever.
OTHER
Can't comment on effectiveness after one serving but I will say that the ingredient profile is outstanding and the price is good (sale or no sale)- what?s not to like!
For those that are interested in the tingles- I didn't experience them at all during the workout but on my walk home I noticed a mild tingling in my hands and then my feet. I would note that I am reasonably sensitive to the parenthesia and also experienced far more pronounced tingling with IntraXCell.

Nice Blap. Throw in a couple ice cubes with your IntrAbolic and mix in 16-20oz of water. New and improved flavored IA, really takes away the aftertaste you are talking about, regardless, it's still not bad, as you can tell

- Electrolyte Powder
- Beta Alanine
- Psyllium Husk

◦ THOUGHTS ◦
The main things I?m noticing at thing point are:
1) Super-increased recovery. I'm already nowhere near as sore the day after a workout and the day after that I can barely tell I've worked out. The difference at this stage and after only a few workouts really is dramatic. Next week (supersetting) will be a real test here. It'll also be interesting to see how this plays off with any increased soreness from X-Factor in the upcoming weeks.
2) Increased thermogenic effect, presumably from the X-Factor. After just a week I'm definitely sweating a LOT more in the gym and I?m even starting to notice occasional 'hot flushes'.

◦ THOUGHTS ◦
I'm extremely please so far. In the gym my performance is going well although I can't say I've noticed any specific improvements in this regard. However, my recovery is getting better incrementally.
Two major points to note are that my pump is, during/after most workouts, is incredible. Haven't felt pumps like this in a long time which is really satisfying. I'm also starting to look a little bit fuller in the days after a workout.
The other thing to note is that, most of the time, the day after my workout I?m much much less sore than normal which is very noticeable. The one exception is my quads which actually feel brutalised and sorer than normal. No idea why.
I can't honestly attribute any particular effect to any particular product but, thus far, I think X-Factor + IntrAbolic is a gem of a combo.
Weirdly, I'm also feeling the BA tingle right when I take my PWO shake and not at all during the workout, despite drinking my IntrAbolic evenly throughout this period. Also- I can't believe anyone would drink this more than twice and complain about the taste again. It's grown on my VERY fast. Almost tastes like apple digestive biscuits now.

Sounds like you hit on a pretty sweet combo here. And regarding your last comment on flavor, I will never understand it either, but as you know the new improved flavored InrtAbolic is MUCH better tasting now, due to some complaints from the original.

My thoughts as well. Still don't get it. Anyway nice log. You're still a damned English soccer hooligan in my book.

___________
DAY 3 WEEK 4
4 JUNE 2008

◦ SUPPLEMENTS ◦- X-Factor
- Green MAGnitude
- IntrAbolic
- Activate Xtreme
- Electrolyte Powder
- Beta Alanine
- Psyllium Husk
- Vitamin C
- Multivitamin
◦ OTHER/ THOUGHTS ◦
I'll start by saying that I still love this combo right now. Everything feels just that little bit better, except for strength where I would say that the changes have only really been marginal at best. I did say that last week (the Strength portion of my split) would be a real test of my recovery, and it was. Whereas my recovery through each of the other phases has been exceptional this wasn't quite the case last week. In fact I'm still sore 4-5 days after a brutal chest workout. I would consider increasing my dose of IntrAbolic though this phase if my stash wasn't already so carefully portioned out.
I'm already starting to notice that I'm looking a little leaner in the upper abdomen. Seeing this is really getting me into cut mode. I particularly like the fact that I'm looking that little bit leaner despite increasing my calories through the combo of IntrAbolic and WMS intra-workout. For anyone interested I've been taking progress pics every 7-10 days and I'll do a little side-by-side montage at the end (if I end up looking any good after the 14 weeks ).
After some deliberating and chatting with a few guys at the gym I've also decided to change up my split a little, although the programme will be exactly as before. I'll be changing it to; back/triceps, shoulders/biceps, chest/traps and legs. The main rationale is to even up my workouts and take it from the two-long and two-short sessions I'm currently doing. This will be particularly important for me when my new gym opens at the end of the month and I start training before work and for when I want to start incorporating cardio after each session.
With regard the stack itself- I've been able to follow the chart to a T thus far. After a discussion with Seb on the forum I'm currently drinking 3/4 of my IntrAbolic whilst resistance training with half of the remaining pre-cardio and half during cardio. It gets pretty messy on the treadmill!
I'm also been taking Activate Xtreme for the past 4 days. However, at this stage, I've noticed no change in any aspect of my life or training. Still very early though.
