    A Keto Newbie and hope for success

    Ok, well im new at this, i spent the last 2 days searching through logs, and FAQ about keto and decided to start today. I hope im doin it right. I currently weigh 145 (im 5'7) but i would really like to get around 130-135 as my first goal. I have a medium build and i think any less i would look unhealthy. This is what i have had so far today. I would appreciate any input if im doing it right or not.

    7:30am: 2 eggs, 1 tbsp real bacon bits, 1/8 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    10:00am: 4oz Pork chop, 1 tbsp PB + multi vitamin

    edit: Lunch today: I wasn't even very hungry for lunch, normally i am starving by this point.

    1:30pm: 2 eggs, 1 tbsp bacon bits, 1/8 cup shredded cheese, 1/2 tbsp olive oil

    Ugh, i got sick at night i guess im not used to eating so much meat/fat

    I do a lot of cardio, which is worrying me about being on Keto. I workout 6x a week:

    M: Cardio 45min in the morning. Then at night: Chest & Back 1 hr Abs 15min
    T:Plyometrics 1hr
    W: Cardio 45 min in the morning. Then at night:Arms, Shoulders 1 hr Abs 20
    Th:Cardio 45 min in the morning. Then Yoga(1.5 hr) at night
    F: Legs and Back (1 hr)
    S: Kenpo Karate (1hr)
    Sun: Rest

    can i do keto on this? I feel really run down and horrible

    You're going to feel run down and have very low energy while you're "transitioning" don't worry it'll come back up, even higher when you're in Ketosis. Also I workout 7 days a week just fine, and I do Spinning on it.

    i think keto is going have to wait till summer, i cant afford to feel run down/ exhausted while im transitioning during finals week. so i will start back up in 2 weeks
