You may have bursitis. it's a small sack in the shoulder that protects the bones from rubbing together. When this gets inflammed you feel pain. if it's not a tear which I don't think it is mostly all doctors are gonna tell you what you probably dont want to hear. Stay out of the gym for two weeks or so, take anti-Inflammatory pills, heat pad it. I had this issue and i hate missing the gym, so I took one week off and went a little easy for another week.
