Pros and Cons of eating pork over other meat

Pork is incredibly cheap, i've read its low in saturated fats compared to beef, has loads of protein + fat(depending on the cut), and tastes great.

    pros, cons???

    pros, cons???
Cons: Higher in cholesterol (depending on comparison target), lower in saturated fat, zinc, and B12... All minor however.

Pros: Higher in MUFAs, higher in cholesterol, higher in Potassium.

    Enjoy.

There are leaner cuts of pork out there, i got one from my local grocery store (wemans) 4g of fat in 4oz and 25g of protein, cant beat that for 3 bucks for 1lb, lasted me a day and a couple meals.

I eat a lot of pork tenderloin, its very inexpensive, I can get 2 loins for 8 bucks and it gets me a good 6-8 servings. It's comparable to chicken breasts in leanness but isn't dry like chicken. I love it baked with some korean barbeque sauce.

You would be surprised to know there are worms and other insects in a lot of food u eat, or at least have been exposed to them. Good news is they are harmless, and its extra protein =p

i remember a news story years ago which examined the amount of bug material we ate indirectly through regular food processing

pretty much, all food contains bug material, and there are rules regarding food processing stating that a certain amount of bug material can safely be included with all food during processing, as you will never get 0%

Yeah lots of fish actually have worms in it. One that i've noticed that always has worms is Alaskan Cod, but yes they are harmless when the meat is cooked.
