Cheat days, i never cheat, can that be bad?
Basically, I haven't had cheat days ever. And i've been on a strict diet for over a year, maybe more like two. I have days when i'm stricter than others (although now i'm on a cutting cycle all are max strict), but i've never eaten any junk or ****e.
Is this bad?
It may sound good, but I was thinking, could it be that the body gets accustomed to the strict diet, and just expects it as normal (not to improve), and should I be having cheat days like everyone else so that the body doesn't get used to the lean diet and start taking it for granted, so to speak? Any thoughts on this?
I hope my explanation is adequate so y'all know what i'm trying to get at!
Another thing, when I was younger I used to eat all kinds of crap and was a lot skinnier. Maybe this was just youth. But my body has never made sense, any thoughts on this too? Even then my genetics were bad, but I trained a lot and was okay, even eating crap. Now I train a lot and eat good, and it's even harder to get results!! AHHHRRRR!!!!!

I don't think you need to have a cheat day, however, i doubt it would hinder your results. So i don't think you will really see any negative or positive long term effects from an occasional cheat day. So go for it if you want, but in my opinion it isn't necessary.

Indian buffets don't count as cheats since they're god's greatest gift to man.

there is no indian food where i live, im going to pittsburgh to visit my brother on monday and he bought me a ticket for a concert for my b-day back in march for a band i like, and he offered to take me out to eat at this indian resturant because he says the food is great, so im not going to pass up a meal especially on the brother.
but yeah those football days were about 3 years ago when i started to transform my body and diet and going from 240 to what i am now ( was 125 believe it or not)

I make pizza and I make a healthy version of it.Anything can be almost made into being healthy with some tweeks

Hmmm okay so I guess it doesn't matter either way as long as i'm consistently clean. I just don't trust the body. Especially mine. It always adapts, but never in my favor! It adapts against me!

Haha okay. Well, it's a challenge for me to eat 6 small meals even to be honest. Thing is this is the reason why I don't cheat. I have no desire to. Unlike other people eating is just a hassle for me whether it's clean or dirty. It's not any kind of pleasure. Yeah there's stuff I like the taste of but it's not worth the hassle. If I could exist without eating that would be great. But i've got no choice, I have to eat for survival and for buffing. But yeah I don't see myself as on a diet, it's not like that, I just live day by day eating as clean as possible. So I don't really have desires to eat crap. So anyway due to the hassle of eating, 4k calories of clean stuff hah wow i'd die of sickness. I mean being sick and tired of eating! I also get sick and tried of things very easily and very quickly, that's another problem I have!

I kinda understand that cause junk stuff just isn't at all desirable to me anymore, it's just like, ugh sick. I just see a blubbersome whale when I look at a hamburger or something and thing, uh no thanks.
Anything? I'm not good at cooking and I don't have time to make stuff hah, so I just have a really simple plain boring diet. In fact I was gonna say can you guys check my other post too about my cutting diet and let me know what you reckon? I could do with some input to improve it buffwise and taste/variety wise. I really hate eating the same stuff over and over!

That would be interesting. But in my case i'm also not into sweets so that's easy for me, it just seems sickly these days, anything sweet. Plus I use ON Whey it's the only supplement I have. And it's sweet enough so that I never need anything sweet ever! :-S

(And to sixpack too)
If only you guys were my personal chefs hah i'd never get bored diet wise!

Okay so here's some more replies. I thought i'd break them up a bit.

Hahah.. Thanks, but I wish I got some pleasure from dining like other people do. But yeah really I don't desire to eat anything, clean or dirty. Unfortunately they don't have BB Kings here, but I went to the one in New York way over a year ago. I think I had a steak though and didn't eat the stuff with it and chopped all the bad looking bits off hah. Unfortunately BB King himself wasn't there!

Well as above, i'm way too fat. And the stats, do you mean the weight and waist size? Yeah they look like small amounts, but my height is also a small amount! Hah. So comparatively speaking, well it still sounds okay I guess on paper. But in reality it looks and feels way too fat. As you can see in my photo gallery..... :-S
I got set back a lot due to injuries so it's a harsh time to catch up from scratch.

I don't think you look fat at all, haha. Based on your stats you look like you would be scrawny, but looking at your pictures you look great! Keep up the good work.
