Hack Squats, Ham-focus = 4 Work sets (180,230X6, 280X5, 250X6)

Pec Deck = 3 Work sets (120X8, 150X7,8)
Quality Level: Good. I wasn't able to go yesterday due to no ambition, no energy and a headache (to the extent that a cocktail of Excedrin, Steel Edge, ClearShot and Swell had a cumulative effect of nil). Today, the energy and headache thing was slightly better (aside from some slight nausea that I worked through), but ambition was still gone. Ironically, the author Poppy Z. Brite, who is also Gemini like me, recently had a similar sort of illness and she described it in her LJ as feeling fine, but just not wanting to DO anything, which is pretty much dead on. She is, of course, several hundred miles removed...
Anyway, today's workout was pretty much blah, though strength was better than I expected. I kind of wanted to go in and just re-acquaint the old body with weight and that was accomplished. I think that I'm very much in the throes of severe CNS burnout, which every element of this is reminiscent of, so I'm going to continue to move forward as if that is the case. This week I'm going to try to leave off stims entirely (discounting band practice day), which should have me back in order hopefully by Friday...I might start going with daily Glycine as well, but I'm not completely sold on that idea yet.
Observations From The Deck: Very obviously, the Log Reset is out. Also, while I did weigh-in lower (exact amount in next section), I very much doubt --screw that very much doubt ****, there's no way I'm in single digit bf%. I can't lose that kind of time and expect to still be able to hit my goal timelines. It's just not realistic. Very hopefully, I will be able to resume the bike soon, but given that if I can't ride it like I'm prepared to race it, there's no point in bothering as I'll probably wind up as an over-sized hood ornament, I'm going to err on the side of caution until the fire comes back.
It has also put me behind on testing the PWO formulation but since this ain't my fuckin' year, that's to be expected, I suppose...I will do a final measuring of everything when this Log concludes, July 3 at the very latest, almost certainly before that.
Auxiliary Intel: Weigh-in was 207 today.
I discovered yesterday that kicking bricks (specifically cinder blocks) while barefooted and using the top of your toes is a hideously stupid idea.

Haha. WOW! Yea, definitely kicking hard things with no shoes on sucks.

I've actually not ever read anything from her but her LJ let alone spoken with her...
Or did you mean through phone secks with you?
Yeah, that was a very poor plan.
In other news, I'm going to try to bike in tomorrow morning. This morning, I woke up with a headache, which marks the start of the third consecutive week of that ****, also known as all of June so far...Ongoing Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=106420991

Exercises Used:
Cuban Half-Press/Rotations = 3 Warm-up sets
Lateral Raise Machine = 4 Work sets (100X8, 120X6,5, 110X7)
Standing BB Rocky Military Press* = 4 Work sets (95X4, 85,75,65X6)

Standing DB Angel Wings** = 3 Work sets (20sX8, 30sX3, 25sX5)
Freeman DB Lateral Raises = 1 Work set (20sX4)
* = In front f and behind head on negative part of movement.
** = Think of the movement to make a snow angel, just while standing and with DBs in your hands.
Quality Level: Average. Crappy sleep left me tired and Swell does not ever result in an energy charge for me, so I was kind of flat. Strength was seemingly pretty far off tonight, irritatingly so. I did some tinkering and experimenting tonight (the BB Presses were kind of interesting, having my balance thrown off that much), but I was overall not very happy with the workout. I wanted to ride the bike in, but felt too tired and thought it would be too hot. By the time I left, I found myself wishing I would have ridden in anyway...
Observations From The Deck: If I can sleep well enough tonight, probably will try riding in tomorrow.
Auxiliary Intel: Congrats to the Boston Celtics, in an otherwise dead playoffs. The team seems like genuinely decent people, though I find endless amusement that Ray Allen always seems to have a perpetual sneer on his face, as if he's observing the most disgusting thing possible in the entire world. Him trying to smile through this tonight was worth the admission price alone.

Did you ever see the outtakes of Remember The Titans, when the assistant coach is trying to get Denzel to smile? It's like that.
Obviously Ray Allen's mind is occupied with other concerns, but he's been that way his entire career...I also was almost dying laughing that every time Allen or Eddie House got the ball and someone wasn't in their jersey with them, if they were behind the stripe, they were damn sure popping the ball, without regard to whether or not it was going in, particularly House...the Celts were pretty fun to watch in this series, especially their antics in the 4th quarter...much more lively than the Spurs...Ongoing Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=106420991

I'm kind of with you on that. The finals of anything, though, sort of have a mystique and atmosphere to them. I suspect this might be part of the great American tradition for impressionable males, but about the only time I watch any of that anymore is when it's coming down to championships. I do like watching UK NCAA basketball still, though, whether it's the playoffs or not.

Quality Level: Excellent overall. Everything was a lot more work tonight than usual, including both rides. Strength is still off, apparently. I need to get the bike tuned and had to stop repeatedly on the way in before I figured that out. The chain was making an odd noise by dragging on something and the brake pad seem like they're falling into the rims. Eventually I just said screw it and kept riding. I'll be taking it in on Saturday (I think) to get the tune-up done. There's a pretty significant lag when I shift, so it's probably about time. This, unfortunately means the Leg workout is either going to be Sunday again or skipped entirely, not sure which yet. I might do something else on Saturday after all that's over. The Lifting workout today was Very Good at best. The weights are all down, but I did hit Back and especially Lats very well. On the ride back, cut more time off and also broke 33 mph on the bike, which is the fastest I've ridden so far...
Observations From The Deck: In case I didn't mention it before, Log Reset is no go. I'm going to probably start the Basic Cuts + Lean Extreme stack this weekend.
Auxiliary Intel: If I wasn't tired before (was too tired to bike in this morning), I definitely am now...

Quality Level: Very Good. Strength is still off and I had zero interest this morning in working out. I was planning on riding the bike into the shop, but when they said they needed the bike for an entire day, I quickly scrapped that plan. Maybe during the week, but possibly not until I return from vacation. I need to do it, but I also need to buy a car rack to get it there, since stuffing it inside the ride is too much of a pain. The workout, right.
Squats felt light, but I think I ripped up my back on the knurling when I decided to go into an overhead press at the end of every set to re-rack the weight (I've elected to use no padding, not even a towel anymore). I had no real motivation today, but energy was fortunately solid. I think I may need to resume the diet numbers possibly, because I think I'm coming in too low calorically. I should have probably pushed Leg Extensions higher as I can max that machine without too much of a problem and probably should have been closer to the upper reaches. Calves were more of a struggle. I will probably kick up the Leg Extensions next time, but the next time I do this kind of isolation-type workout will be sometime in July as next weekend is heavy again (hopefully strength is back by then) and the following week I go on vacation...
Observations From The Deck: Hopefully, I'll be able to get 4 or 5 days, depending on if I take the bike in to the shop, of riding in this week. It really irritates me how incredibly wasteful colds are and there is no goddamn use at all for viruses and whatever cocksucking ass-eating miserable cretinous entity that thought them up should be inflicted with ALL of them simultaneously. Divine fucking comedy, my aching cock.
Auxiliary Intel: Will try to get in a weigh-in tomorrow. Tomorrow might actually be Shoulders and Forearms, maybe all of Arms and Abs...not sure yet.

I would not do them had not John posted up the idea. Well, that's not quite true, as I did do them sometimes, just didn't think of it by that name exactly and forgot about it most of the time. I believe that anyone can learn from observing what John's doing and I can't imagine anyone seeing him and not being inspired to do better and push harder.

Quality Level: Very Good. Shoulders got good and hammered today. I really am liking using live weights for the Military Presses, though I wish I could hold my balance better. I'm going to keep working at that. Motivation was still pretty low, which is one of the drawbacks of being an artist. I'm far more interested in music at the moment than anything else, so I have to almost pull myself away to hit the gym. Energy was again fine.
Observations From The Deck: Had some very slight soreness in the Glutes as well as in Quads and Calves, but the latter two only when I went up and down stairs. Other than that, no soreness. I intended on riding the bike in, but since I had to do some shopping, I took the car as I planned on buying eggs and I didn't think those in a backpack was an especially good idea. I'm kicking around the idea of going on a little ride a bit later on today...we'll see. I slept like crap last night due to the heat, so I might try to take a little nap for a minute and see if that helps.
Auxiliary Intel: I forgot to do a weigh-in again, but I did remember to update my BodySpace.
Also, I think I'm going to have to resign myself to not being able to hold over-200 for the single digit bf%. I think it will be close, but probably under somewhere. I've been kicking around the idea of just holding mid-200s and then slowly reducing body fat, but I think I'm going to just get down to the bf% I want and then slowly add muscle instead...

Quality Level: Good. I wasn't sure I was going to do this workout, but figured I could take a leisurely cruise and check out some of the nearby roads to see which ones are usable and which I'd have to plan around. So, I cruised down to the park and took a little tour of that and kinda dicked around for a bit watching the kids in the skate park and some other people playing volleyball and then came back. I wound up pushing harder than I had initially planned as apparently me and casual have a very hard time going together.
