GF's Meal of Choice: Post Workout

She always grabs a Lean Cuisine pizza out of the freezer and I try to explain to her that she needs a better meal. One that contains protein and not freeze dried ingredients. I tell her that those things are just belly fill and have no real nutritional value.

    Am I wrong?

Just eat food after a workout IMO. Don't get hung up wit Xg of protein and Xg of carbs, calories are what build muscle, not individual macros.

For her, a lean cuisine pizza is probably fine. Hell, I had a CPK pizza post workout the other day.

There are a lot of better options than a crappy pre-boxed food. Does she enjoy fruit? Make up a little mixed fruit and add a yogurt and some whey protein in there. It's good stuff.
