Why has my left ass started to pop out during squats?
My left ass pops out when I squat.
It started last night!
It's never happened before!
What could it be?
I used the same form I always use which I think is pretty good.
And did them the same way as I always do.
I do smith squats by the way if that matters, because I was crippled twice with spinal injuries and they seem to worry the back less for me.
Well I guess if any of you lovely bodyspace ladies want to volunteer as my workout partner to massage it back into place each time, then that would solve my problem?..... Hah.....

The act of contorting yourself to see your popping butt is enough to cause torsional reaction from your glutes!!!
I'll bet if you stop looking it will go away

HAHAH no I didn't mean like that! I mean the muscle jumps out of place, like a contraction, with some pain. I can feel it not see it hahah.

But that doesn't necessarily mean they pop out of place during squats..... Or does it?

I had the very exact same issue while I was forced to use a smith for squats cuz I was going to a crappy gym with no squat rack, the problem disappeared the very next workout after I started doing normal squats, when I changed my gym.
So, stop using the smith, and perform regular squats. For your lower back, just learn ot use proper form. There is no way squats could cause problems to ur back, if you arch it properly, cuz when u arch, the whole pressure is on the muscle and not on the bones.

Actually that's what I was thinking, I was thinking because you're forced to go in a straight line it maybe that it's because it was on the smith. But thing is, it's never happened on smith squats before. Well my form is good as long as I don't go too heavy so I was thinking of starting to use regular squats. So I guess we're on the same page!
