What is your current workout routine and nutrition?

I would say cardio and a lo carb diet for awhile and see how that works out for you. If you do lo carb it, make sure you recarb every 3rd day or so. I did mine on the weekends. Hope this helps a little.

i dont really keep a constant routine cause its hard to keep it consistent with work and school. i try to usually mix up my lifting to keep my body from hitting a plateau. i rarely do cardio now, i just get too lazy :/ for nutrition, im learning to eat really well thanks to the tons of articles on here.

We all do, it sucks. I like running outside when there's a blizzard though. I own the roads then.

At your weight, the only lovehandles you have are your ears.

You are really underweight. I'd suspect you're neglecting nutrition as well. Be careful. Your body image sounds skewed.

Are you sure those 'lovehandles' you speak of aren't just your hips protruding from your waist?

Turn your thinking around. Build up your upper body by putting that 40lbs on and you will be amazed at how those will disappear. Don't try to get rid of something that isn't really there. Its a false perception that your getting by looking in the mirror. Lift heavy and build up!

yeah, you make a great point, i thought of that a couple of days ago, so i started working out really hardcore on upperbody and taking glutamine and gold standard whey. i have a question about eggs though. i know everyone says that the egg whites are the best thing to eat when bodybuilding, but whats so bad about the yolk? its always egg whites, never just eggs.

Its just whites when people are cutting mostly. Also years ago they thought the yolks had bad fat in them. Truth is you can eat to many of the yolks, they have fat, but they have some good fats in them also. When I am making scrambled eggs...its usually 8:2 8-egg whites to 2 yolks(or 2 whole eggs) You have to have fat in your diet to add good lean mass. Flax seeds, nuts, olive oil, etc. It helps testosterone production.
Smart move on the glutamine too...take some just before bed too. Helps reduce your body attacking good muscle tissue for energy as you sleep.
