The Different Day Jobs Bodybuilders Have
I'm posting this here in the Female Section because I would like women to reply to this poll as well as men. This issue has been bothering me for some time: Do long-term bodybuilders (or fitness athletes or whatever) generally fall into more white-collar occupations or blue-collar occupations, or is it an even board? Because most of the more successful bodybuilders I read about (not those who model and/or live off of competition money) seem to hold down more office-type jobs. I know when I do more blue-collar work than white (I'm a chameleon) it's harder for me to stick to my diet and training because I'm more physically exhausted at the end of the day, and with office work it's more mental stress. What do you think?

Hmmm I'm a nurse so I'm not sure what that makes me. Probably blue collar?

I've done retail and office work, and this summer I'll be living in the woods working at a camping outpost. So..blue collar, white collar, and brown collar? hehe

I work in the corporate world. While it does often make it easier to get my meals in, being glued to a desk or conference room is not the best thing for the metabolism.

Blue collar. I use heavy air-guns all day long and build different parts to boat engines. I have been a materials handler, and with that I basically lifted all day for ten hours, lol...would that count as being paid to work out? I used to dead lift the transoms from the floor and those suckers were 70 lbs...that was before I started going to the gym.
And for the record...I don't think office jobs are blue collar...that would be white collar.
