I really want to do something to show my wife how proud/happy/thankful I am for how well she is doing with her pregnancy. I want to do something creative and inexpensive. If I buy her jewelry she will get mad at me. So something creative that will get the point across to her. Any suggestions will be appriciated. I put it here instead of the regular misc because I do want a few real suggestions mixed in.

This is a good idea but I did this whole thing for V-Day.
She will be mad if I spend too much money because she is scared to death that the baby is going to cost us millions of dollars and that we cannot spend money anymore. I would actually like to do something on May 13 which is the anniversary of our first date (6 years)The Beast Journey to Elite

I am thinking about suprising her by taking off the day and taking her to get a couples massage and then a nice dinner.

Woah there! You misunderstood me. I still think she is the sexiest woman on the planet. It is just hard to get her in the mood when I have to position her just right. Cooking dinner is not that big of a deal to her I cook 5 days a week for her. The foot rubs are also a daily thing. Maybe this is why thinking of things to do is hard. I may spoil her a little.

We went and saw the first spiderman movie. Not very romantic. I thought about writing about how I felt that day in a cheesy romantic letter version.
I almost negged you until I saw the mod part and the fact that a neg from you would barry me. Its a good idea there but I am still trying to use the excuse that I don't know how to clean, if she finds out I know how she will expect it all the time. The Beast Journey to Elite

Do everything around the house for her for Mothers Day (next Sunday)- dishes, cleaning, laundry, make meals, rub her feet, run her a bath... She'll appreciate the sentiment Also- if you can- book a 'Babymoon' getaway- even just one night away somewhere special before the baby comes- show her what you've got planned when you do the rest of the stuff. Or- and- consider hiring a doula for her labor/delivery- talk to her about it and see what she thinks- but a good doula is worth their weight in gold And the point that *you* thought of it- something to help her in that situation- will be much appreciated.
(And yes- for alot of women- a man doing housework IS like porn. At the very least it's EXCELLENT foreplay! Even- perhaps especially- for a pregnant woman! ) <-- (I say that as a mother of two LOL)
Hope something in there helps! You're a sweetie- she's lucky to have you!~If it's to be, it's up to me~

I like the way you think.
How about you clean in your underwear. That might get her in the mood.
Just saw you don't want to give away your cleaning abilities. Well, YOU could give her the massage that way you wouldn't have to spend money. My bf sometimes gives me a massage during sex especially if I am not in the mood. I get what I want and he gets what he wants and usually I end up getting into it somewhere in the middle of things.Last edited by SandSCFanClub; 05-01-2008 at 06:01 PM.

How about a gift certificate to a day spa or a professional massage
Renew your vows
Weekend getaway
A simple letter with details
A picture collage board (you make it)
Reunite her with an old friend or family member
Send flowers
Send a singing ********
Setup something with a cool cop and have her arrested, then you come rescue her (this one's kinda on the border, hope she has a sense of humor)

Buy her a foot spa machine and give her a foot rub at the house and a glass of champagne or sparkling Cider if she is paranoid about alcohol.

Flowers and a nice card work for my wife. However, you need to put some thought into the card. Don't just write "Love, Hubby" at the bottom. Tell her how you really feel. It doesn't have to be a book, but you need to get your feelings across.
