Feeling like a bad ass
Last night at the gym it was so cool. First off I’ve got some pretty strong legs. I think it’s due to having weighed so much in the past. After warming up on some front squats it was time to hit one of my favorite machines, the leg press. Unfortunately there was a really skinny guy sitting on it talking to a friend with what seemed like no intention to use the machine at all. I think he thought he looked tough sitting there with four 45s on each side. What he didn’t know was that’s the amount of weight I usually use. After waiting a few minutes (seeming like an eternity when you are between two exercises). I decided to ask him if I could “work in”. He gave an annoyed look, like he didn’t want to change weights. So I added that we could leave the weight at what it is now. That’s when I got the look. He raised his eye brows like no way are you capable of lifting this much weight and said “If you think you can” (I think he may have even snorted) Oh now it was on. I normally do two sets of 10, but after that I didn’t even feel the first 9 or so. I pushed through 17 reps on my first set. His expression was quite different after that. lol. I’m sure that 360lbs isn’t a lot of weight to a lot of people but it sure made me feel powerful last night.

woohoo
tough gym guys
My wife was "working in" with some HS Wide Press hog and he kept adding plates to each side, 45, then +10, then +25
that's when I said "honey, quit screwing around and lift" and set up 2 45's per side, she looked at me like "can I do this", I gave her the nod, she pumped out 6, he left
she used to leg press 7 plates a side 'just because she could'
doesn't do that much anymore as she "likes her knees" the big sissy
