    peanut butter protein long time to digest?

    my roommate said that peanut butter and peanuts take a long time to digest. is that true? is that the same as caesin protein from cottage cheese? thanks guys

    the protein in peanuts is incomplete, it would be unwise to make it your source of protein because it would limit protein synthesis. Peanuts digest slow because of its mainly fat and fiber the protein has little to do with it.

    absolutely, but don't make the PB your protein source... use it for fats to slow digestion and fiber to slow digestion
