Question Side chest pose in the npc, and Ifbb

Have you ever noticed how the side chest pose has changed from the days of Arnold and such? Back in the day I think it was cooler the way they made there chest poke out high. Now the pose has changed I guess judges want to see thickness and straition. Well, what Im trying to say it just seems like the old way of side chest pose was better b/c you could still see thickness, straition and height. Does anybody know why the pose changed?... OR am I just a dumbass and the pose didnt change?

different people pose different ways. i also prefer the more classica version of the pose, but different competitors have different strengths - good posing emphasizes each individuals strengths while minimizing their weaknesses.

agreed....through out practicing the poses, they find what works for them, and often times the ones who come up with new ways to do a standard pose, are recognized more
