Dark Chocolate Ice Cream
This is a variation of Atkins Vanilla Ice Cream I made up this weekend. Yummy for all you chocolate lovers!
3 Tbsp Hersey's Special Dark Cocoa
5 Egg Yolks
1 Tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp splenda
1/4 cup water
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Blend together first five ingredients on medium for 30 seconds...set aside. Whip the heavy cream until fluffy. Then fold yolk mixture into whipped cream. Careful not to break down volume of whipped cream-you may have to whip it again. Put in a container and freeze for at least 2hrs.
Approx 5 carbs per 1/2 cup serving
