- I'm 21 years old.
- My height is 5'4". (yes manlet)
- I weigh about 102lbs. 105lbs on a REAL good day.
- My face is about a 9 in looks. (thank god for that)
- My body looks like a 12-year old boy.
I'm built just like my father. I can practically eat a horse a day and not gain any weight. Gaining weight is seriously nearly impossible for me. My Dad didn't start gaining weight until he was in his 40's and now he's finally average and looks good.
I always wear sweaters, jackets, and pullovers, because I look like a chode in a t-shirt.
Everything else in my life is going ****ing fantastic except for this weight issue. I surprisingly have an insane amount of confidence for someone so puny, but I feel like a fraud. I'm seriously beyond ectomorph--I think my puny ass is in a class of its own.
P.S.
- I'm allergic to: fish, peanuts, milk, whey, and a bunch of other things.
- Maybe I could gain a *little* bit of weight if I wasn't allergic to so many things. Sometimes I think I was just meant to be puny, ugh.

You can gain weight...anyone can gain weight if they eat enough calories.
Wed have to see what your allergic to, to give you an idea of what to eat. I do know though that youll need to get in calorie dense foods to get calories in you.The No BS Guide to Caloric Intake, Cutting and Bulking by joeflex73

Relax....even considering you as an incredibly hardgainer, at your size, lets say 2500 calories a day. Thats considering in your height, age, weight and giving you some benefit of the doubt as a real hardgainer.
2500 calories a day is not that hard to do. And even if its not enough, going up to 3000 calories a day is very doable.
You can do it, but we need to know what you typically eat, what your allergic to and do you train at all?The No BS Guide to Caloric Intake, Cutting and Bulking by joeflex73

breakfast:
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- 1 cup of rice drink
lunch:
- 1 sandwich
- 1 bag of chips
- 1 apple
dinner:
- steak, mashed potatoes, vegetables
late night:
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 cup of rice drink
-----------
That's about a typical day. I have a hard time eating more than that. I must have a pretty small stomach or something because I feel sick if I eat too much.

What can you have out of this list below:
Eggs, Chicken, Turkey , Tuna, Beef, Salmon, Cottage Cheese, Yogurt
Brown Rice, Whole Wheat bread / Wraps, Sweet Potatoes, Oatmeal
Olive Oil, Avacadoes
Fruit
Veggies
i know its small but this is all you need to bulk
are you lactose intolerant? if you are they make lactaid milk and lactaid protein powders ( Dymatize is one of them)
to get you some things to think about.

2,000 calories.. yeah thats why your not gaining, and your also denying fats in your diet as well,
Eat Veggies , Pasta + beef + Olive oil at least 2-3 times a day,
are the oats dry or after its cooked? if so eat more of them and place olive oil on top of them for extra fats,
start eating more Whole Wheat Breads and Pasta these arent very filling and easy calories.

I don't mind feeling sick. I used to train and eat more than what I eat now, but it didn't do much of anything, so that's why I'm back into this state. I just didn't see it going anywhere.
I have no problem manning up if I know that the thing I'm doing is going to work.
Perhaps another issue is, I don't know what the **** to even do at the gym. I had a trainer and I learned some things, but then I couldn't afford it anymore.
Great suggestions with the food guys. I am so grateful for your immense help--I'm taking everything here and going to try to come up with some sort of plan for myself. If I'm here, I must believe that there is some hope I suppose, or else I wouldn't be posting this, so maybe it's just that I'm not eating enough and I'm not training properly. I would like to think that.Last edited by need2growbig; 04-27-2008 at 07:07 PM.

bro bro bro...You call this eating? Your breakfast is oatmeal and rice drink are you kidding? I eat 6 eggs and 2 oatmeals, trust me it gets old. Then lunch is 1/2 lb of chk with brocoli....Protein drink...anything I can get my hands on for dinner. I am an ecto 2, I still have trouble gaining one lb. But if I work out hard enough, I get hungry.
P.S. You got to want it, Dont bring this humpty bumpty up in here, eat+hit the weights if you really want to get big.--------------------------------------------------------
I go to the gym to make muscles, not friends.
I will squat...You do leg extensions.
The more you sweat now, the less you bleed in battle.
