What does 10 pounds of muscle look like?
Does anyone have a before/after picture where they gained 10 pounds of pure muscle, I'm interested as I'm not really sure what I'll be looking like a year from now.
-
-_-
It really depends on where you add the muscle and how tall you are. Someone who is 6'5" could put on 10lbs of muscle and you could hardly tell, but if they were 5'5" there would be a significant difference.

Thank you, do you remember what your bench/squat/deadlift was before and after?

Before:
Bench- 230
Squat- 290
Deadlift- 315
Now:
Bench-320
Squat- 355
Deadlift- 395
Only one i am really sure of is bench, I rep with squat + deadlift so im not 100%, its pretty close though.

Not a problem. This upcoming week is my deload week, so im not gonna max out then. The week after it though, Monday or Tuesday, I'll max out and post a video of it.
Back to the thread, Arched... how tall r u? And for being only 15 years old your numbers and weight will increase at a different rate. Also, if I was you I would just concentrate on bulking over the next 2 years and getting your strength up. The numbers will follow up.

Im sorry? Would it make you guys happier if I made up some stats that wouldn't offend you? Would it be better if I put 167lbs for all 3?.... I played football for 4 years and only type of lifting we ever did was power lifting. Our coach didn't give a **** how we looked, he tried getting us strong so we worked on the three core lifts more than anything else.( Except instead of deadlift we did power clean). I got into bodybuilding last year and that's when I started concentrating on everything.

Before bashing, at least wait for one week, time that I said that I will provide video in, and if i don't post it by next tuesday/wednesday... go ahead bash. This way you'll only make yourself look stupid once I post a video of it.
And i NEVER talked ****, did you see me brag or bitch about anything? I simply posted the stats. It's you own choice to believe whatever you want. I've seen so many people who look better than others on here get bashed that it's not even funny how many immature people are on this web-site.
TO EVERYONE:
I wasn't trying to brag about my stats or anything for that matter. The OP asked to see someone's progress who's gained 10lbs, I was in that range and having the pictures available I posted them. He then asked me to post my updated lifts, as I did. All of this I did so I could help him out and give him an idea of how I progressed, and no I didn't make the stats up. I'll even take a snapshot of the wall for the 300lbs bench press club from my school to prove you wrong.
Did I do it with perfect form? No, i do a slight bounce and I arch my back, if that's gonna make someone bash, I want to give them an opportunity now and not something to complain about once I put up the video.

wow strong lats
While Milos0000 did allegedly make 90lb gains on bench in about a year, I don't think his numbers are out of the question. I've lifted 5 months and put on 50lbs on bench and am still progressing at the same rate. Lifting even on and off for several years, a 230 bench isn't implausible. Combined with just starting to lift again seriously, he could make the gains. Could be E-stats, I'm just saying you guys make it sound like none of his weights could possibly be true. His bench is unproportionally high, but maybe he was a bench monkey for a year, hitting only the bench and curlz.. lol. I squat 280 and deadlift 300, his squat and deadlift are easily possible, his bench is the only one i would consider doubting. and just wait for the vid. we'll all see in a week or so.

I lifted with a kid who was 16 and 185...and had only been lifting for 3 months...he could pull 515..squat 455 and bench 310...I wouldnt see why a 19 year old who played football for 4 years couldnt bench 320???

I really doubt these lifts except for deadlift and if you do get that much weight i bet its half reps on the squat and bench.

Milos did you naturally go from 230 to 320 on the bench ? I think it's just strange how ,assuming you played football for 4 years and were regularly benching those years, that in the span of one year you bring it up 90lbs

Yes it was natural. I didn't say I lifted regularly. I said it was on/off for 3 years and than last year I got serious with it. My bench has been higher than 230 at some points of the year in those 3 years but I never worked out long enough to keep it going up. I've been a bench junkie for the last year, done it twice a week for a year straight.
I don't see why people put squat and deadlift in doubt. Both are very far behind. First 6 months I barely worked my legs. I workout at home and I had nowhere to do it. I joined a gym since then and im trying to catch up. My squat should be closer to 400 and deadlift to at least 475, but they're not.
