Aftermath when surgery
I'll be out for a good 2-3 months minimum. Eating the same diet just zero exercise. Approximately how much mass should I expect to lose?

Devils - Its a pain in the rear when I sit or walk. Laying down in bed most of the time. Really blows!

I made my friend a solemn promise that if he ever went in for surgery that I'd bring him a dumbbell in the hospital.
Haha
I might actually need surgery on my hip. I destroyed my tailbone snowboarding a few years ago and I never got it fixed. So it hurts a lot sometimes. I might need to get it looked at eventually.

Haha nice!
That tail bone sounds brutal bro. Just thinking about it. Ouch! Heck even when I broke a finger it hurt like heck. Good Luck with it!

If you keep cals high, you shouldn't lose much mass, but expect a great strength loss.

Hey man I know what your situation feels like. I had a double hernia done a few years ago. I basically couldn't lift anything for two or three months because lifting could cause tears and it could cause the hernia to come back. Don't sweat it, three months won't throw you too far out of the game. The hardest part is getting back to the gym after such a long break. As long as you stay motivated and hit the gym as soon as you can you'll be alright.
