Possible to overtrain if gaining weight?

Is it possible to over train if I am gaining a pound a week? If I overtrain but still gain weight will that weight be fat or what? I'm confused.

    True overtraining is rather rare.
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
