I recently read a study that said that steroid users were the most intellectual type of illicit drug users. It said that people who use steroids are more likely than anybody else to research what they're putting into their body and know exactly what effect they're looking for and likely to get. I totally bought that idea considering I was researching steroids and I'm not even thinking about using. Then when I was skimming through one of my nerd magazines I found this article.

i don't think it's ironic at all..nootropics are going to be the next big thing, like provigil, which is indicated for use in people with narcolepsy, but its cognitive enhancing effects are very enticing for anyone. amphetamines are slowly becoming more mainstream and socially accepted for use in this regard. I do agree that steroid users put more time and approach the drugs with intelligence(in most cases) than the average illict drug user for many reasons..
