Macros

Hey you guys, i have a question for you all....I have really been looking into my foods and have been trying to figure out my macros and ive looked it up on a few different places and i have gotten different answers. So i am a bit confused. The first ratio (for 1500 calories per day) was:

Protein= 450 cal /(113g) per day
Carbs= 600cal/ (150 g) per day
Fats= 450 cal/(50 g) per day

The second site said (for 1343 calories/day):

Protein=363 cal/ (91 g) per day
Carbs= 698 cal/ (175 g) per day
Fats= 282 cal/ (31 g) per day

**does this sound right to you guys? If anyone could help clear this up for me, i would really appreciate it!!!

thanks you guys!

Carbs/Protein/Fat at 40/40/20 is the most commonly recommended ratio for muscle gain. 1500 calories seems very low for your height and weight- I'd suggest you try www.hotnfit.com to find out how many calories you actually need.

First site :
113 x 4 = 452 / 1500 : 30% Protein
150 x 4 = 600 / 1500 : 40% Carbs
50 x 9 = 450 / 1500 : 30% Fat

Second site :
91 x 4 = 364 / 1343 = 27% Protein
175 x 4 = 700 / 1343 = 52% Carbs
31 x 9 = 279 / 1343 = 20 % Fat

40-30-30 -vs- 52-27-20
being Carbs/Protein/fats

I think depending on ur activity level and what your goal is, the 2nd one is better but JMO though.

if she wants to "cut" it seems pretty good but the 2nd option though. If she wants to bulk, then yes of course she needs to eat way more than 1500 cals a day. It all depends on her goal

1300 is very low...I'm cutting and I rarely eat less than 1700 per day. It depends on activity level and body composition, not just choosing the lower number. It'd be impossible for me or most other women here to bulk on 1500 calories per day. I'd have to eat upwards of 2500 calories some days.

So is 40/40/20 good for someone cutting? Is there a better macro lay out for trying to loose a lot of body fat?
