Fibre in Diet...

For over the last week I have been extremely bloated and the only thing I can think that is different is my fibre in take. No matter how small I make my meals and space them out and eat a variety of foods, I think the high fibre diet is getting to me. I've added things like apples, carrots, lentils, brown rice, broccoli and high fibre cereals...What can I do to combat this, and/or how long does it take your body to adjust to this "new" way of eating? I have been drinking a ton of water to go with this as well. I am frustrated with the bloating, it feels like I am gaining rather than losing the weight!!

If you made a drastic change then that may be part of the problem. Gradually introduce and increase the amount. Digestive enzymes might help the transition too.

But it could also be a food allergy (gluten) or too much sodium & possibly problems with foods with too much lactose (dairy) or fructose (fruit).

As long as the active agent is "unknown" some dork is still gonna be poppin' chicken beaks so he can freakin' squat!
