sweating
This may sound gross, but i sweat a LOT. Like, soaking wet drenched out sweat when I run. I've tried wearing a limited amount of clothing when I run, thinking that I will be more cool and not sweat as much, but nope! It still looks like I just stepped out of a pool.
Is there anything I can do to not sweat as much? Maybe there's a lotion or something out there that can 'lock in' your sweat? haha, I really have no idea..

There is absolutely nothing wrong with sweating...it is your body's natural way to cool itself down and it is very good for you while running. Working out isn't supposed to be a fashion show and noone is going to judge you and even if they do, who cares?
Just take a shower when as soon as you get home and wear the type of clothes made out of material that will take the sweat off your skin faster and dries quickly (Dri-fit i think is the name of the material).

Have you tried wetting your head/hair with cold water before running?

I think you may just hve to live with it...
If it's any consolation... I've heard that the fitter you are the sooner you start to sweat and the more you sweat...

the same problem
I drink a lot of water though, so I try to chalk it up to being properly hydrated. Even worse, I work out at one of those gyms where none of the women work out that hard, so I am the only one actually sweating. Nice to hear I'm not alone.

I'm always happy when I sweat too... Because I do sweat more when I'm properly hydrated and when I start to be stronger and leaner.
Except when I'm not working out... and it's hot... and I want to wear a dress. I hate the sweat on my legs. Wish they made a leg antiperspirant (sp?)!

yeah I sweat heaps too. I'm sure some people think that i have been swimming in my clothes haha but I don't care.
Even when I am extremely well hydrated I sweat heaps. I just don't care any more. If you have a look around I'm sure you will see heaps of super fit people who are drenched in sweat. Wear it with pride lol
