When i run, my side hurts (and my front as well)...but idk why

    So, my question is.

    1. When i run, the front of my belly hurts (like painful type...feels like a stomach ache when you eat food, then run right away...though, i didnt eat anything before i ran)...Why does it hurt?

I asked a friend while running and he told me i wasnt supposed to move my shoulders and so i didnt move my shoulders, and the pain went away, but came back, then went away again....very strange

I know the pain in your side has to do with breathing. Try inhaling on your left foot and then exhaling on your next left foot. There is a tendon that pulls or something to that effect when you exhale on yrou right foot. I dont remember where I read that, but it made sence to me cause when we run in the army we always sound off on our left foot, pushing out all the air.
Not sure on the stomatch, might be some of the same thing try to breath like this

SHORT SHORT LONG (inhale, inhale exhale{left foot, right foot, left foot}) make sence

It's probably just a stitch. Learning to breath correctly like the other guy said should allow your muscles to get enough oxygen

Doing corework really helps with side stitches. I found that when I first started running, I got sore sides regularly even with proper breathing. Once I started doing corework and a few months of a regular weight training program, that really helped that area. Streghtening those core muscles allows your body to support itself that much better when you run. Breathing is still important as well as not having a full stomach when you go running as well.
Getting back to where I need to be.....

I used to get that when I first started running.

Only at a higher intensity though. If i'm doing 140-150 BPM its usually not a problem.

I run 3-4 miles a day usually. I haven't had that problem in a long time. I think unconciously I trained myself better breathing techniques, and at the same time my lung capacity increased as I did more cardio putting an end to the problem.

are you trying to keep your back as straight as possible while running? if you are that might be doing it. I remember last year i had that problem when i'd stick out to keep my back straight and my stomach would start hurting after 5-10 minutes. try running at your optimal level without adjusting your posture too much if you are
