Implants - Do they ever look natural?
I've been seriously contemplating getting my boobs done sometime soon, but I'm still having doubts. I absolutely LOVE how implants look in a sweater or t-shirt but I find when you see fake boobs naked or in a bikini they always look obviously fake, especially on really lean girls. I think it's because implants are always round, and so they end up looking rather odd in the middle. Real breasts are a little more teardrop shaped i think. But then again, I would never spot well done implants as being fake, because that is precisely the point of them being well done!
So my question is... do you know of anyone who has implants that look really natural? Like you wouldn't look at them and instantly think FAAAAAAAKE.

hehe i came to the right place I have had implants for 6 weeks now and EVERY person who knew me before them has said they look amazingly natural and people who didn't see me before them have said they would NEVER have thought my boobs were fake. On top of that EVERYONE has said they are absolutely amazing and bear in mind that we're talking only 6 weeks after surgery!! Mine are 300cc silicon under the muscle. They look fantastic They aren't too big at all. If you want some pics let me know and i can send some to your e-mail.

Look into the tear drop implant. They are shaped more like a natural breast instead of round.

forgot to add, i have the round implants and because they aren't too big they still look amazingly natural because they do still drop a bit due to the forces of gravity!

just took the online test. scored 73%, which i would like to think makes me a 'breast expert', but i doubt it.
very enjoyable test i must add
now, i just need to find a similar test, just not in 'online' mode
thanks!!

I know many girls with implants and it seems about half look fake and half you would never know at all. Find a good surgeon and don't go overboard with the size and you should have no issues at all.
Ashla - your implants look great!!
Deyaala - can you get some pics of ozigal's boobs for me?

I spotted every pair of fake ones! I'm too good at this game. It's just a dead give away when the girls is very lean or skinny and yet still has nice round breasts. Nature hardly ever makes them that way!

i got a 73% too. saw this thread and just had to look...question for the ladies since im here...why is breast size important to you? im one of the few guys who could care less about breast size on women and actually get turned off by implants and huge ones. is it a self confidence issue like having straight teeth or nice calves or something? cant figure out the deal with it...and to the O/P...i think u look fine without them. peace

I got 77% - my bf got 53% and this was pure eeny-meeny guess work
I'm not bothered so long as the person with them is happy. I personally don't like the hemisphere/porn star varieties as they look about as natural as false eyelashes.

surprisingly most girls don't do it for anyone but themselves. I know i have wanted mine almost 4 years (pretty much as soon as i realise i wasn't getting any bigger). I chose to get mine done because i lack the hourglass waist (i have always been blessed by being slim though) and had very little breat tissue so i missed out on wearing a lot of dresses and clothes and bikinis just didn't look great. Now i have boobs that are the perfect size and i can wear any clothes and i love how bikinis look on me. It has a whole lot to do with feeling sexy and more feminine. Especially when you work hard at the gym and you have a great body

Personally I think your body looks great like it is boobs and all. However, if you want to get a breast augmentation don't be too concerned about how real or fake they look when you are naked.
First, if you don't go over board with them and find a reputable surgeon, then no one will be able to tell if they are fake or not when you have clothes on.
Second, not matter how real they look, when you hug someone they will be able to tell they are fake.
Lastly, I will assume that it will be your bf or husband that will see you naked most of the time, and I can gaurantee that he doesn't care how real or fake they look. He will be happy to be seeign and playing with boobs.
All men love boobs whether or not they are big or small or fake or real.

Going under the muscle helps a lot to avoid the balloon look. Don't know what affect that has on recovery time or returning to workouts compared to on top of muscle, but I would ask about it. Also, massaging them after the surgery -seriously- so that they adjust to your body and form less scar tissue helps a lot. Any good surgeon will give you similar info.
I have the opposite problem. Very large breasts (runs in the family and higher bf %). I am looking into reductions/lifts to hopefully make cardio like running a little less frustrating and to even out the proportions. I don't know how many people have seen what breasts look like after a reduction, but they tend to look like a messy roadmap of scars.
Anyways- good luck! I would get a couple consultations if you decide to go for it, and definitely ask to see some before and after work. A good P S will be happy to show you and address your concerns.

I understood going over the muscle would allow the implant to drop into a more natural position. I'd certainly look into the teardrop shape and not go for too drastic a change in size.

I've been doing more and more research on this subject lately, as I've been getting more serious about having it done. For me, I have an hourglass figure. I have barely any breasts, no matter what weight or bf% I'm at, and they will continue to get smaller as I lower my bf%. It makes me look less femanine. I hate how it looks, from a designer's perspective. Having broad shoulders and wide hips... I feel it makes me look masculine, which isn't the look I want. My fiance couldn't care less if I had any boobs or not. I don't care if someone's oggling my chest in public or not. I care about how I look, how I perceive my form as an artist perceives their work.

There is another thread in the Female section that covers the under/over question - it's about 2 months old and lots of posts.

Implants
I suggest you watch women who have them and see who they went to for theirs. I worked in an operating room with several Plastic surgeons and they all looked different afterward. Do your homework. Don't go to the first doctor who tells you what you want to hear. Ask questions, research implants for what you need to know. Men tell me they never feel the same as natural, but that is a man's preference. Worry about how you feel and if the man love's you, he will love them too! More power to you!!

whether they are under or over depends on a number of factors i.e. bf% (low bf means with haivng overs there isa higher chance that the implant outline will be more visible), amount and intensity of working out, shape of implant. Generally it isn't just something you can choose. If it 's a good surgeon he/she will find out about lifestyle andtake measurements and decide which is the best option.
