    bench press powerlift

    I saw this video on youtube and i just want to know if anyone here uses his technique because i have some questions on it. is it really worth trying and where do i hit the bar on my chest. it looks like he is hitting very low on his body.

    where do i touch the bar though on chest or upper part of the ribcage? and would i need to go down in weight in order to get this new technique down? i lift with the football team and the coaches teach us the body building benchpress.

    There is no one spot where you have to touch. Try it in a variety of places and find what works best for you. Bear in mind you can't go below the sternum.

    You should touch in the spot where your elbows are in line directly above your wrists. You'll need a training partner to help you find the right spot.

    Im actually slowly working into this new for right now.(started last week)
    from what i understand, it should be below nipple line yet above the sternum.
    im not going to get much into this form yet because i have a competition coming up soon and dont want to fck up my grove i have now for it.
