Critique my keto diet please
Alright guys, im gonna start keto and was hoping you guys could critique my diet to make sure i have it down correctly. Heres what i got:
Meal 1:
3 whole egg omelet
3 ounces of grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of diced bacon
Meal 2:
6.5oz of tuna
1 tbs of mayo
2 slices american cheese
2 cups of broccoli
2 tbs ranch dressing
Meal 3:
6oz chicken breast
3 cup of spinach
2 tbs ranch dressing
2 slices of provolone
Meal 4:
2 slices of boarshead turkey breast
1/4 cup of almonds
2tbs peanut butter
Total macros equal 64% fat, 3% carbs, 33% protein, total of 2101 calories. Im 5'5" 145lbs 12-13% bf, want to get down to 8%. How does it look? Anything you see wrong i should change? Thanks!

Looks good. Just wondering why you are sticking to lean meats and then having to add fats. Go for rib steak, salmon and chicken thighs and enjoy them.
65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs = keto.

should i replace the turkey breast with salami or pepperoni? And dinenr varies between chicken, steak, fish, or pork, depends on my mood.

As long as they are not filled with nitrates, yes. If you are getting them fresh, that is optimal. I use a lot of ground sausage during keto.

Replace breasts with thighs and you should be fine. You'll halve your food bill too. Replace lean meat with rib steak or fatty ground beef/pork/turkey/lamb. Bacon is good as long as it is not full of nitrates and other additives. If you can get some home-cured, you are in clover.

so is salami or pepperoni a no go? And ill start eating more thighs. I had steak tips today, couldnt find much about them, are they fatty? They sure tasted like it!

They're ok, but they're soooo salty....watch the sodium, and look at the ingredients...they can be full of nitrates and sulfites.
