Right, so it's been over 6 years since I done these, but today I went all out on the road and did sprints - all out speed, totally nailing it until complete exhaustion. Rest 3 or 4 mins, then repeat.
40-50mins of these and I've never felt so DESTROYED but at the same time, I've never felt so incredible. My skin is glowing pink and my eyes are so clear and sharp they look photoshopped!
I have to make these a part of my weekly routine - daunting, as it really is punishment, but so incredibly rewarding.
DO THESE! Take my word for it! Quit the joggin along half arsed - this stuff is awesome. I felt muscles in my legs twitch that I never even knew existed.
(Also, I recently quit smoking, so this sort of running was out of the question before)

It might be a killer but you sure feel like you spend your time well. 50minutes sound a liitle to long. If I where you do it for 30minutes. Sprint for 30sec jog for 30/60secs. dont forget a 5mins walmup/cowndownsMy cutting log:

Yeah 50 mins is too long to be out there.. I agree.. reason it took so long was basically my poor cardio meant I had a really long rest (nearly 7 or 8 mins near the end).. 30 mins does sound better..
Tony, you should try again making sure you get some carbs in earlier in the day and makes sure you're super hydrated before you go out.
If you still get the headaches, it could be the cold weather (some dudes run with a beanie-type hat to cut down on wind rattlin' inside their ears and keep the cold out).
As for your chest, that could be any number of things.. wouldn't dare comment.www.prohormoneforum.com

We used to do these things in football... sprint your ass off to the 50 yard line, then jog back, sprint to the 40, jog back, sprint to the 30... etc... I should start doing these again now that the weather is getting nicer... hell of a workout!

Easy there fella. You need to work up to max efforts or face a very quick burn out due to ankle/knee/hip problems. You do want to be able to do this kind of work for a very long time, right?
Start with these to start(as an example).

This is helpful as well. My personal fave.

Also, periodize this stuff so you don't go out in a flash (as you should with any kink of intense work)."Adapt and overcome."
