Water weight?

I'm alittle confused..here are two pics taken maybe a week apart.





I gained 5 pounds in that one week when I was working out almost every day (weightlifting some days, running others) and it looks like if anything I gained water weight? This confuses me help please! I have drunken alot of water this week but my diet has been 100% clean. Also, I've had very low carbs this week so perhaps that's why. thanks for responses

or maybe fat? you can see ur ribs kinda in one pic near your lat the seccond u cant, your chect looks a little less defined in the seccond, and you mid section is wider with less of a X shape in the seccond one

Dont expect to notice a change in a week. The 5 lbs gained could be due to the fact you weighed yourself at different times. You may have more food in you still, you may have taken a ****, you could have more water in your system....too many things to account for

If you're going low carb your body will hold less water, because there will be less glycogen available in your muscles... Typically when people switch to low carb diet or no carbs they will lose a lot of water weight the first week.

If you've just started a creatine cycle, your body will be holding more water than normal...So expect to feel swollen and maybe a little bit bloated.

reduce your sodium intake. i used to retain a ****load of water until i stopped adding salt to my food.
