History of Nizoral, but currently giving Nioxin + Aloe a try, I'll do a review after 1-2 months (so far = loving it for the other benefits). I get all this stuff at wholesale now.

HIGH dose saw palmetto is worth a try (cheap + might do the trick).

Thin hair and receding hairline are my problems too. I have found a great shampoo and conditioner help with the thin part but the receding IDK! Here is the name of the shampoo and conditioner I use. The stuff really has done a difference. It is actually called Thicker Fuller Hair. Try this product or another great shampoo conditioner, it helps.

beta sitosterol, saw palmetto extract, nizoral 2%, 5% spiro shampoo, minoxidil foam
if those dont do it for you, you might wanna try "proscar" IF your shedding is DHT related.

If you arent familiar with these products or have done your research...be warned that there is a significant shedding period involved in which you lose ALOT of hair before new hair starts growing in. The hair that falls out was going to eventually fall out on it's own...but with the products all the dead hair falls out all at once. Following htis shedding period is when you will notice results...but you have to keep goin n push thru the shed.

Build a laser brush. I did, Only 7 weeks so far and my hair is def coming in much stronger. It also cost me damn near nothing to make and I don't have to mess with topicals.

Diet is important too, read these
http://www.stophairlossnow.co.uk/Diet_and_Hair_Loss.htm
http://www.naturalfitsupplements.com...egrowhair.html
I'm convinced that whole egg consumption and tree nut consumption (ie. not peanuts) helps a lot due to their vitamin + mineral contents. I was able to cause a reversal in my husband's male pattern baldness by introducing eggs and tree nuts.

With the minox. Thats always been the best for me. I would never use a 5AR inhibitor again. It destroyed my sex drive and aggravated my gyno so bad Im going to have to get it removed eventually.

Oral or topical capsacin/cayenne/rasp ketones is probably cheapest. Oral capsaicin and RK and topical RK are supported with clinical research.

it is said that propecia can stop your hair from getting weak and falling.. but I did use it for 8 months, it got a little better. but not totally finished... and it takes a real long time for propecia to sart working like a year (well actually all these products take the same time more or less). I think propecia is good for the very beginning level of hair loss problem... if its a little advanced, then its useless alone... it will just slow down the process..
and also 1 box of propeica is almost 55 dollars here, which is 1 gr of finasteride/pill for 28 days...
and also from the same company there is proscar, which is 5 gr of finasteride for 28 days... and its cheaper than propecia... I actually buy proscar and divide the pills into 4 pieces (they are really small so I cant make it 5) and use it this way.. its the same stuff... I also asked to 2 different doctors about this and they said it would work the same ...
so propecia is a trap for those who wanna have their hair back... you can have propecia for cheaper than 1/4 of its price!!!
which would last for 4 months!
for those who are thinking to try it...
edit:
I forgot to tell,
in frst three months I had horrible hair loss as the italynstlyn says... my doctor told me the same thing too... so dont get freaked out by that... it grows back...
