    Anyone use a Sauna suit to help cut fat?

    I see fighters using them all the time to make weight. I realize they cut more water than fat but it seems to help get toxins out as well.

    Sauna suits are used for weight loss and conditioning by professional athletes, amateur athletes and enthusiasts. Typically, these suits are made from rubberized vinyl, which is able to hold up (not tear) under the stress of active sports such as wrestling.

    The use of sauna suits brings out misconceptions about losing weight. That is, to lose weight, your body needs to burn more food (calories) than you eat.     X2,,and lets face it after you've lost a few pounds and you're feeling really thirsty because you're dehydrated what do ya think happens when you head towards that water fountain. You guessed it start comming right back. LOL
    Forget about the "special suits" and magic pills and focus on cutting back on that evening meal, portion control, and lets not for get hard work. Good luck to ya Johnny

    PS: The weight didn't jump on your body "over night" so try not to expect it to hop off soo quickly. Learn to eat cleaner and excersice hard and you'll be where you want to be before you know it.

    doesn't cut fat. Getting rid of toxins is also being found to be a myth according to a couple doctors that have radio shows. He sighted a few studies that actually showed it placed excess stress on the body as well.

    It's good if you're a fighter and need to get to a certain weight in a very short period of time when you don't care where the weight comes from and if it's very very temporary.

    In other words, unless this is you, don't bother using them. I crack up every time I see someone working out in them in the gym. These people are usually older guys in their 40's and 50's though.
