Hello fellow lifters.
My partner and I are looking at opening a new "old school" hardcore gym (remember them?) late summer this year, if all goes well.
ATM all looks sweet (real sweet actually), however I have one small dilema.
I'm not too sure what to name my gym. Here's where I need help from you all.
So what do you think is a good or appropriate name for a hardcore gym?
Please... remember that it's not one of these new-age fitness centre craps, where people are more interested with how pretty they look and what's the next hit video on the MTV channel that'll come on. It'll be an old-school hardcore gym which predominantly caters for the powerlifters and bodybuilders; AKA the serious lifter.
So go ahead and give me some ideas on a gym name. All suggestions will be seriously considered.
And if we do happen to go with someones suggestion from this thread, I'll be sure to give them a lifetime membership :0))
Thanking you all for your time.

Oh wait, real gym names. I'm very bad with names, but what I would like to see in a name is something that scares bicep and chest people away. The Pit is nice. When looking out after yourself, use your head...
When looking out after others, use your heart.

If you are not liberal when you're 20, you have no heart. When you are not conservative when you're 40, you have no brain.

Do not be restricted by any style
As there is no better or worse style
There is no superior art
There is only difference
All arts have the same basic principles
Develop what is your own

I can't believe no one suggested 'The Dungeon' yet. It's short, simple, and sounds sweet: "I'm going to the dungeon, be back in an hour".
'Graceland' - I think a giant, ripped Elvis as a logo would be hilarious
'Mt. Olympus'
'The Graveyard' - if it's a 24 hour gym
'Hell's Haven'
hahaha My names suck !
