Unhappy Tummy trouble...

I'm looking for advise to help me get rid of my "hang over stomach" issue. I've had is since i was like 12, and I'm now 23. I've gone off and on different diet/exercize routines, but I'm not good at researching so I never figured out the "right combination" to get rid of it.

I'm currently out of a job and there's no gym's within walking distance, so I don't have any exercise equitment... I'm definitely not looking for a quick fix. I'm 5' 3" and weighed 205 lbs in January, but! I am now down to 163 lbs. So I'm now trying to "tone".

This may sound immature, but, I feel like I've only seen girls go from flat stomachs to flatter, or muscular stomachs... I've never seen "before after" pics of any women go from actual "hang over" flab to flat stomachs. Once the hang over thing happens, is it permanent?

Thank you in advance to anyone who responds, I really apreciate any advise others have to offer.

I think I may have a similar stomach to yours. My fat stores in a 'band' across my lower abdomen.

From experience, I've found:

Diet and exercise can't change your fat distribution pattern.

The only way to lose fat off specific body parts is to lose overall body fat.

I lost 40kgs a few years ago using a low calorie diet and lots of walking and because my stomach is predominantly where I store fat, my skin is a tiny bit loose at the front. I don't think the way I lost fat was particularly smart way to lose it. I could have done with way more resistance exercise.

I've been tracking my macros and eating a very healthy diet as well as doing lots of cardio (10x 30min sessions of cycling a week) and weight lifting (60min 3x a week) for the past 2 weeks and my stomach measurement had reduced by 2cm. The fat is coming off in other places too - like my bust.

I find my stomach depressing at times but an upside of it is that because the fat is only on my lower abdomen, my upper abs have a chance to show through.
