Should I be doing cardio in the morning on an empty stomach?
Should I stop eating three hours before bed?
Take a fat burner?
Avoid dairy or other foods that could bloat me or make me retain water?
When is it too much cardio?
Any answers to these or other little tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi There,
I have tried out for dance teams before... judging from your pics, you look fine.
At two weeks out, I wouldn't make any major changes. It's kind of too late in the game to experiment.
Most of your questions are hotly debated topics in BB. And I am sure you will get varied responses. I say, do what you have been doing-- show energy, smile... and you will be fine.
No, don't do cardio on at empty stomach. At least try to get some BCAA's in you to preserve muscle.
Eating before bed is a preference. You will not gain weight if your daily calorie expenditure is more than what you intake. However, I wouldn't suggest eating carbs at night... as your insulin levels will go through the roof. A lot of people like a slow digesting protein-- like cottage cheese combined with a healthy fat-- like natural PB. This helps feed your muscles during the night.
If you haven't taken a fat burner before-- don't. It will jack your heart rate up and may make you jittery. You don't want to be having heart palpatations when they ask you to show your kicks.
You may want to cut out dairy the week before, and ease up on the sodium. Sodium depletion is tricky and I wouldn't reccomend it for what you are trying to do. However, if you cut your sodium in half, you can drop some water weight. Expect to gain the weight back once tryouts are over. And be careful with this... the body can adapt and create a substance in the body which makes you hold on to even more water.
Too much cardio is a relative term.... what's your frequency, intensity, mode, etc? You could try 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes at night to help you drop a couple of pounds in the next two weeks. I would do a combo of low intensity, moderate intensity, and HITT.
From personal experience when you do too much cardio and eat too little, you won't lose anything... and you might even gain. This is why I go back to my original point... don't experiement now. Work on your dance technique and your look. And then re-valuate your fitness goals when tryouts are over.
