    3. What trick does Malcolm use to hide the number of men in his army?

Disguises them with branches from the forest. (Forget the forests name) Its the one that the witches said he will be king until it grew to macbeths castle

    Act One:
    6. Banquo, like Macbeth, is surprised that the witches have predicted Macbeth's new title. He is however, leery. What does he say about the motives of the "instruments of darkness"?

    Act Two:
    4. After Macbeth kills Duncan, he goes to Lady Macbeth and is conerned about not being able to say "Amen." What is her advice to him?

    5. Then, Macbeth is worried about hearing a voice saying, "Macbeth does murder sleep." What does Lady Macbeth then tell him to do?

    6. Why won't Macbeth take the daggers back to the scene of the crime?

    7. Who was knocking?

    8. What three things does drinking provoke?

    10. What did Macduff discover?

    11. Macduff says, "Oh, gentle lady, 'Tis not for you to hear what I can speak. The repetition, in a woman's ear, Would murder as it fell." What is ironic about this?

    14. Why does Ross not believe Malcolm and Donalbain were responsible for Duncan's murder?

    Act 3:
    8. What does Hecate want the witches to do?

    9. What does Lennox think about Macbeth, Fleance, and Duncan's sons?

    Act 4:
    9. Macduff says, "Oh Scotland, Scotland!" Why?

    Act 5:
    1. What do the doctor and gentlewoman see Lady Macbeth doing? What do they decide to do about it?

    2. What does Macbeth want the doctor to do for his wife?

    3. What trick does Malcolm use to hide the number of men in his army?

    4. Malcolm says, "And none serve with him but constrained things Whose hearts are absent, too." What does that mean?
    2. 7. macduff and some other guy
    2. 8. one was wanting sex, truth maybe?
    2. 10 that duncan was dead/killed
    2. 11. its ironic cause the lady macbeth whom he is speaking to helped kill duncan, and the news he is talking about is the news of duncans death.

    5. 1. mimicing washing a "spot" (blood in macbeth ladys mind) off her hand. she had gone crazy and kept seeing blood on her hands and trying to get it off
    5. 2. fix her lol
5.3 he makes them hold trees or cover themselves with foliage so it doesnt look like he has as many soldiers as he really does-hence "burntem wood marching on dunsinane"

    i got your back

    Act One

    6. (Act 1: Scene 3: Line 135) ?And oftentimes, to win us to our harm/ The instruments of darkness tell us truths, /win us with honest trifles, to betray?s/ in deepest consequence? Banquo says in this quote, that the witches told them a prophecy that would be the truth, but it would also would draw terrible consequences from only being told part of the truth. This could lead to predict that there will be backdoors with the prophecies, in which Macbeth doesn?t expect to encounter, as he wants to be king.

    Act 2

    4. (Act 2: Scene 2: Line 45) ?These deeds must not be thought/ After these ways; sit it will make us mad.? Lady Macbeth tries to convince Macbeth, that the murder is not a big deal and he cannot start getting emotional and guilty because if he looks at it from that aspect, he will go crazy with guilt of the crime he commited.

    6. (Act 2: Scene 2: Line 65) ?I?ll go no more. / I am afraid to think what I have done. / Look on ?t again I dare not?. Macbeth is scared to go back to the room and cover up the crime scene because he can?t even look at what he did, because the actuality of the murder is suddenly being realized.

    Act 3

    9. (Act 3: Scene 6) The tone for Lennox, is very sarcastic, so he speaks opposite of his actual opinions on the murders. He states that Macbeth pitied Duncan, but only after he was killed, therefore showing suspicion that Macbeth killed Duncan. He says that ?Fleance must have killed his father [Banquo]? because he was out late and fled the scene of the crime. But his tone suggests that this would seem unreasonable, and Macbeth also had something to do with this framing. The same goes for Malcolm and Donalbain, as Lennox says that it was a horrible crime, that also seems unreasonable for the sons to commit against their father. So Lennox felt as if Fleance, and Duncan?s sons were framed in the act of Macbeth trying to kill their fathers.

    Act 4

    9. Malcolm is telling Macduff many reasons, such as greed, as to why he should not become king. At first, Macduff disagrees kindly, as a friend but as Malcolm continues on, he becomes annoyed and states ?O Scotland, Scotland!? as a cry for inability to listen to Malcolm any longer. He tells Malcolm, that he should not only be ineligible to be king, but with all of the listed characteristics, he should not even live.

    Act 5

    9. Malcolm is talking to Macduff and his soldiers about their strategy for killing Macbeth and overthrowing his kingdom/castle. However, he states that the guards will no longer fight for Macbeth, because they are unloyal to him and don?t fight for him because they agree with his antics or even like him, but are afraid to be killed themselves. So, therefore the charge will be easier, because the defense is not very willing to upload the English army.
