Question period question!

Ok so this is the first month I have not gotten my period. I just started a new pill and have been on BC for a couple years now. I am on loestrin right now (which is the 4 day period) and like I said its my first month on it. I have not gotten my period yet and am concerned b/c I am two weeks out from my first figure competition. I am not concerned that I didn't get it (b/c i figured i wouldn't since my fat is so low and i workout so much) I am worried this is going to somehow screw me up for my show. Cuz I am up 2lbs and feel like I am retaining water just like I would feel if I was getting my period. But if I don't get my period are these symptoms going to go away? Or will I be bloated and retaining water for the show!!! Please advise........... (cuz I am freaking out over it!!!)

I wouldn't worry about it. I seriously doubt that bloating will last two weeks. And your dehydration would take care of it anyway. Eat some asparagus or other natural diuretic if you can. That may help.

All you need for a period is one drop of blood. You may have one and not even know it.

There is a similiar post about this, just be careful. I haven't had one for over year and finally had to go on the pill due to fear of osteroperosis. They put me on Loestrin and it really messed me up. I was sick to my stomach, no appetite and depressed.
