been fat for most of my teenage years and now it's time to make a difference. I've been working on losing fat since january so I'm making progress and happy for myself. I want to get cut up. I started lifting, already starting too see minor results. Hopefully by mid june I'd look decent for the beach and not insecure about my body. Well those are my goals fellow builders.

Alan send me a message if you wanna partner up, been trying to cut weight for a while and would like to have someone around my size to rival with just to make it a little more interesting. If anyone else would want to partner up, doesn't really mind matter if your height/weight is too different just looking to talk to people around the same bodyfat

Looking to drop a good deal of weight by November/December, then maintain for a bit, then clean bulk. I'd love to partner up with anyone who is looking to lose weight over the next four to six months. I don't care if your stats are identical to mine ... I just need someone keeping me honest! haha. Possibly interested in doing a log as well (for the purposes of accountability), even if it isn't too detailed.
Also, I know a lot about losing weight. I've read a ton. PM me!

Age - 36
Height - 5ft 10in
Weight - 219 lbs (down from 267)
Male (married w/kids)
I started a workout program at 267lbs back during the last week of March 2011. I have cut down to 219 as of this morning. I have been obsessive about my eating (2000 KCal/day)and working out once per day with weights (AM) and two 45 minute+ cardio sessions per day (AM & PM). I have been very happy with my results overall, but have stalled the last couple of week around the 220 mark and am a little frustrated. I have a goal of 185 by mid September. I would welcome partnering up with someone (male or female) to motivate and bounce ideas off of during the rest of my transformation.

hey man,
Seems like i'm kinda in the same boat as you... I'm about 5'9" and currently at 200. I have the same objectives as you, which is lose some body fat and be able to be on the beach without a shirt... according to some people here, BF is about 30% (INSANE), but I wanna take it down below 20%. Let me know if you wanna partner up...
My usual routine (From last week) has been:
Running during lunch for about 30 mins (M-F)
After work, I go to the gym for a workout, which consists of the following, (M-T):
10 min rowing warm up (goal is to row 2000+ meters)
One-two body parts a day for lifting...
Just need to work on my eating habits. I feel like this much workout is sufficient...
What say?

Name: Justin
Age: 21
height: 6'4"
weight: 310 lbs
goal weight: Whenever I start looking good I will know I'm close : )
BF: Not Sure
Goals: Was 352 lbs on March 9th when I started having some heart problems due to the weight and stress. I got my act together and started dieting without exercise which got me to 330 lbs on May 20th. After that I switched up my diet and started doing some very light cardio and this morning I came in at 310 lbs. What I'm looking for is someone around my weight that's in this for the long haul. I won't disappear on you, I take a progress photo of myself every 5 days and I lurk this site daily. I would like to share dieting and workout programs. I have no goal weight in mind besides getting below 200. If anyone is interested and knows some stuff about working out send me a message.Starting Weight = 352 lbs. (March 9, 2011)
Current Weight = 310 lbs. (June 19, 2011)

Name: Xyst
Age: 29
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 185lbs
Waist: 36.5"
Target Waist: 33"
Target Weight: 165(?)
Short/Mid term Date Goals: July 15/August 1st
Goals: I've been doing the yoyo maneuver for about a year. Initially coming off a big loss of over 125lbs and have gained from a base of 145 (not healthy!) to a base of 165 (hard in every since of the word!). I have trouble maintaining a consistent weight and want to keep my waist between 33-34". The scale is generally around 165-170 when that happens, but I've been gaining muscle the past couple months so I know pounds aren't always everything. At the end of the day, I want to be comfortable in my own skin, walk the beach shirtless and not feel embarrassed, and impressing the girlfriend is always a nice bonus. :-D

Age: 33
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 244 lbs
Waist: 48.5"
Target Waist: 36"
Target Weight: 185 lbs
Goals: Short-term - be able to do a pull up by New Years (no kidding on this one...never done one, too fat and too weak - but that's going to change); Long-term - lose over 70 lbs, and keep it off by changing my lifestyle, and have enough energy to play with my daughter for hours at a time. I want to be able to look good and feel good, but I am not naive enough to think it's going to happen in a month.
Was 256 when I started 2 weeks ago and I'm pretty sure that most of my weightloss at this point is water loss. I need to get to the gym and use their calipers b/c I have no clue what my BF% is...but, it's most likely around 40-50%.Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...
