I did two shows last year, 2 weeks stright. The first show that i did i did stright carb and fat load just the night before, i found out taht my body dont like too many carbs at once. Hence i was very smooth.

Now for the second weekend i did a creatine (mono) load for 4 days leading up to the show, but the thing is i didnt carb up all taht much. I was about 80% full i think and i was dry as a bone.

Now this year i wanted to carb depeate sun, mon, tues, wed and the start carbring up a little thursday and all day friday. This is what i was thinking for my carb depeate and load.

I was also wonder what your guys take is on Creatine loading should i give ti the thumbs up or scrap it??

(numbers are grams of carbs)

Sun-100
Mon- 75
Tues-75
Wed- 50
Thurs- about 100 through the day and start about 5 Pm have another 100-150
Friday- 250-300 ( depending of how full i look)
Sat(4am)- 50-100( depending on how i look)

I will also be having steak friday night for a little fat.

Let me know what you guys think im up for your thoughts.

Sounds like you have things under control , if it is not broken don't fix it , in other words if you did well last year with a particular method why change it.

Creatine some use it all the way to show day , some don't , no need to load creatine.

What are you carbing up with Junk food or the carbs you used during dieting?

Good luck with your show.

Rob

Id cut all salt except for eggs monday and start distilled water as well as minerals. You should be drinking 2 gallons plus if not start now.

Id deplete Mon Tues on half your carb intake from diet then carb up Wed Thur Fri on twice your carb intake. Cutting out the eggs on Thursday.

Wed One gallon. Carbs alternate every other meal White potatos and sweet potatos with rice cakes.

Thurs Half gallon. Carbs Sweet potato with rice cakes every meal

Fri Quart. Carbs Rice cakes with 2 tbs PB every meal

Water divided evenly WITH meals

Start Taraxatone on Wednesday taking 2 each meal assuming you are using 6 meals.

Taraxatone? I used that before and was dry as a bone. BUT recently ppl have been discussing whether or not to use a diuretic of any kind, natural or not. That it pulls not only subqutaneous water but also intravascular & cellular, leaving muscles flat with minimal vascularity. I like how you guys taper water and do not totally cut it out. I'm on that plan for sure. BUT I still would like to use the Taraxatone. What's Layne's take on it since you come from his camp???
